Good placements, student run campus, good exposure, ample opportunities. The quality of companies visiting the campus for summer as well as final placements is nothing short of other premier B Schools. Definitely better than all the IIMs except BLACKI.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good, covers a lot of wide areas of marketing. Some subjects seem to be over stretched and not worth the time of the students. Workshop such as negotiation skills, are made compulsory which even the faculty belives is not necessary. The institution believes in providing good academics but some professors are just not good enough to teach in a B school. Ample assignments are given which help the students in keeping in touch with the studies along with practical applications of the concepts.
Internships Opportunities
I currently pursuing my Summer Internship with Ascent Health and wellness Solutions. They are the second largest pharma distribution company, after Apollo. My stipend is Rs. 50,000/ month and the duration of the internship is 2 months.
Placement Experience
A wide range of conglomerates and organisations visit on campus every year. We have a large alumni base and hence it helps a lot in conducting the placement process. For Summer placements as well, a lot of companies visit the campus and offer the students good stipend and exciting roles like sales, consulting, marketing, market research, etc.
College Events
The campus life is amazing. There are 18 clubs and committees in the campus who organise various events in the campus. No week goes by without some committee or club launching their event on campus. Being the member of the Sports Committee, which organizes Chakravyuh, also known as the Olympics of B Schools, I can vouch for the fact that student learns a lot more than just sitting in the class.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is good. Students are provided with world class computer labs and services. The classrooms are Air Conditioned, the softwares used for analytics and research are up to the mark with the quality standards of the industry.
Hostel Facilities
The Hostel infrastructure is good. However, there is one problem. First year boys are made to stay in a separate facility outside the campus which is 4 kms away. This essentially cuts off a large section of the students from the campus.
