Remarks

I chose SJC mostly because of its extra curriculars. It has one of the best fashion teams in south India and a good basketball team too. I chose the respective course because it is integrated with ACCA, which is a UK based course.

Have nott started college yet but the principal was very friendly and chatty during the interview. The other teachers that took my interview were slightly rude. My course syllabus is up to date with the ACCA UK stand

We have been told that the placements for Commerce haven't been that great because the commerce department was introduced just a few years ago.

College Events

I haven't been on the campus yet but I've heard the college is very active with extra curriculars. They have a lot of teams for sports and cultural activities. Their Fashion team is one of the best in South India.

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My Campus Life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The special Aspect was to do relevant things in curriculum that i influenced my decision to choose this course. They have preperes us in good manner for real world for compettions as well. The areas they have to improve is on industial visit shound done every 2 month not in 1 year. The teaching Method should be more didital. The Frequency and Timing of exam at 12pm noon . The ecam level is less difificult if you study.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

Inside look: Life at St. Joseph's University

So I chose this college based on its affordability and location. I applied to Christ University and I got through the interview & addmission exam easily but it cost too much for me. Per year the fees was 2L whereas in St. Joseph's University, it costs 1.10L per year. The university is also located in a transportation-friendly location, you can travel by public and private transport.
