Yes the teachers are really good and very much appropriate in syllabus completion and doubt clearing.the zoology faculty is really good anf helpful and friendly and up for solving students problem anytime

As yet i dnt know the companies but my seniors say that placement is very well but for my field an msc helps more

Considering other colleges asutosh is more focused on studies so on the cultural festivals it stands a little back bt students do enjoy them as well.not very massive but for refreshments it really works out

Infrastructure is really good and free wifi campus but class hours are really strict.well developed library with all the books needed is provided.labs are well managed with all the latest equipments and managing and cleaning is also classy

Approximately 70 to 80 % of students placed by on campus. The highest package is 12 lakhs per annum heard from the seniors and the average package is 3 to 5 lakhs per annum. TCS are the mass recorder company the provide max placement. otherwise others companies like Wipro, Infosys are also offering placement.

Admission
For securing admission into this college, one has to a pre interview screening test that is conducted by the college itself . It is a form of checking candidate's worth and ability. I chose B.sc and M.sc out of choice.

The college offers a summer fellowship programme to the students which is generally form March - April. It is usually for Undergraduate and Post Graduate students and the stipend for the same is aroumd Rs3000 per month.

The college is good for learning and polishing some basic English skills and as well as they provide many mock tests which students can take to improve their Speaking .College helps students to gain confidence and aim for good in life.
Admission
It all depended upon my marks in GATE entrance exam. I got admission on the merit of my marks in GATE. This college was one of the first places who developed electron microscope in Asia. Getting admission here was the very honourable part of my life.
Placement Experience
Fellowships provided here was top class. I got a fellowship of post Junior Research Fellow(JRF) with salary 31,000 for 2 years which later got increased and became 36,000 for subsequent years. Many of my batchmates are now scientists working under the government.

Pros: 1 In the Kolkata city, one of the top ranked colleges. 2. Good placements. I got placed in BYJU for 9lpa but chose to go for MBA 3. Good college life. Lot of places and Kolkata is a cheap city. Cons: College is in a backwater locality of Kolkata Its like living in a village from where you can escape in 5 mins via auto to more plush areas Bangla speaking is an issue. Illiterate professors are screwed and will make you study some things in Bangla. Its fine. Study from YouTube instead.

Yeah if i say yes there should be much bigger ground to play. rather than that the canteen food are a bit expensive. Well everything rather than that is upto date. The facilities are awesome. The roads are a bit not upto date when you leave from college to home. So yeah the roads must be plastered as soon as possible.

Pros- Study environment.Not much expense.Friendly.Exposure to some social and cultural activities. Cons- much away from the City-life students generally long for.Hostels and hospital premises needed to be cleaner.
