Remarks
The reason i joined this College is its placement facility, quality of education, facilities, infrastructure and its reputation in the city. MITE is accredited by AICTE, NAAC & NBA(almost all branches). The other thing was MITE, hosts one the largest fest in the Mangalore region, various Bollywood singers perform in the fest and Students are very must enthusiastic about it every year. Yea, the cultural activities also drove me to this College. Another factor to join MITE was that it provides College bus facilities to far-off places from college which are about 70kms away from college and my place was one of them, so it was easier for me opt for up and down from home to college by College bus daily rather than College hostel. The last but not the least was my KCET entrance exam rank i got 51k rank and i ended up with SNQ qouta seat, in which 90% of the fees is waived off, obviously this lead me not to go for other choices.
Course Curriculum Overview
course curriculum - our course curriculum is good & updated. It is thoroughly created to be imformative. The lab and theory syllabus are perfectly matched to be productive Academics - Students in our College are expected to score the best, so they are well trained by the lecturer's. There will be monthly tests, which has minimum passing marks and if failed to pass, the students need to attend the extra classes. There totally 3 internal examinations which carries weightage of 40 marks and the external exams carries weightage of 60 marks totally counted for 100. Faculties - MITE has very good faculties, most of them are Ph.D holders from reputed universities of India. They are Very friendly and caring. They have excellent knowledge and teaching skills.

Placement Experience
MITE has pretty good placement facilities, MITE has tied up with various MNC's like Bosch, Siemens, Karl zieuss, etc to provide best placements to the students. Many of the students got placed in Japan with a Very impressive package. many companies visit around college and hire Students from all the branches and provide impressive packages. some of the companies are Jet Aerospace, Bosch, Volvo, KPIT, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TATA, Amazon, Cognizant, IBM etc
College Events
MITE is well known for its cultural fests and programs, MITE hosts fest on various occasions in an year like on onam, Karnataka rajyotsava. The main fest is held once in a year called SENCIA, where various Bollywood singers perform each year.
Campus Life
I think MITE has one the finest campus in the town, with Elegant & well designed buildings with lift facility, Large ground for all the sports, a Gym, Wi-fi onboard, well spaced classroooms equipped with AC & screen & top class laboratories and auditorium's.
