Remarks

The campus life of XIMB is better than all other colleges in the same tier. Along with that XIMB is known for it's academic rigour and very good curriculum.Placement is quite good as compared to other B schools.

Course Curriculum Overview

All the faculty members have industrial experience and have a Ph.D. degree in various management fields making it a great course to pursue. XIMB has one of the finest professors in the country in fields of Finance and Marketing. Most of the faculty members are consultants to government and various boards in the corporate sector.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 550000 per year

Placement Experience

Best roles are in consulting, marketing and sales. 100+ companies visit the campus and XIMB ensures getting everyone placed. The average package is 14+ Lacs and various diverse roles are offered in the campus. You have best companies from each sector visiting the campus

College Events

The campus life of XIMB is one of the best as it's a fully residential campus at a good prime location in the city with all the facilities and amenities. Apart from this they have gym, tennis court, basketball court, indoor badminton, auditorium, 21hrs open library and a soccer field.

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

The excellent university of odisha

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I don't have any specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course . The hands on projects have helped me to understand the practical use of the concept. Opportunities for collaboration and feedback from professionals from the industy will increase the learning application. Per semester the frequency of exam is 3 . The difficulty level is not that much as it is in the semester .

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.
