Remarks

It's a prestigious college and placements in it were damn good. And also many of my friends and relatives suggested this college as I thought of joing the main campus. I felt that this college is better than many NITs and IITs. Hence I opted this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses in our college are quite updated as the syllabus for our batch has some difference with our seniors and also juniors. Faculties are highly qualified ones and help us to learn till we understand the concept of the specific course. Till now I didn't attend any industrial trip as I was not taken.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

Many companies come here for recruitments for the 3rd years and 4th years. So we get many chances for availing job.

College Events

When coming to Extra curricular activities we are having many events and clubs and also courses for extra curricular activities. We here have DJ nights every year and the best part is we have the one of the biggest fest in our Indian Colleges named RIEVERA which we enjoy day and night continuously upto 4days. This event is held in February every year.

Campus Life

Sports has no deficit in our college as here many tournaments of various games are held regularly. Library is so big and centralised AC and WiFi. Equipment in labs are surplus and if we have any problem with the instrument we use,we can change by taking permission from the lab staff. Our hostels are WiFi enabled upto midnight 12AM.

Hostel Facilities

We have many Hostel blocks namely A,B,C,.etc. 2nd, 3rd and final years have common blocks whereas 1st years have different block completely for them as they are Freshers. For us we have unlimited WiFi network in our blocks but the problem is we get maximum speed of 300-400 Kbps speed on an average. Each hostel block have 4-5 wardens.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Admission:

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.
