Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. Due to pandemics, the classes were taken at Google meet or zoom. Class timing is of 1 hour, daily you have to do 2-3 theory classes and lab classes as per routine. The faculties are friendly and they give pressure on doubt clearing classes.
Placement Experience
You can start start-ups. Microsoft, deloid, Amazon, IBM, TCS, and many more companies come here. You don't need to worry as you have a CGPA of over 6 or 7, you will get a job. But the bests got the bests, remember.
College Events
Campus life was good. As a moody person, I never felt anything even on my first day at college. Made many friends or let's say, brothers. KIITFest is been held by our college every year for the first years, but freshers only get a chance to perform if they have insane talents, every year at least 3-4 celebrities came here. Kiitfest is the main fresher's party. But believe me, there are countless events that take place in KIIT.In a whole year, you will be exhausted by attending this event because the number of events is more than lakhs.
Campus Life
KIIT has the best infrastructure as compared to IITs And NITs.wifi strength is good, provides 5GB per week. Recently, a new library has been made in spite of having an old library. The new library is certified as the best in Asia. Lab equipment is better than any university, as they are expensive just try not to break anything or you have to give 30% of that equipment.
Hostel Facilities
As my home is Kolkata,I stayed at hostel in KIIT.No ragging because the authority is so strict it doesn't allow even the parents from outside.Main gate is only opened for college time.It will be shuted after 6.30pm and arguing with authority is meaningless.You can eat at mess,but eventually you will upgrade at bringing outside foods.Main thing is,dont argue with authorities and dont try to be oversmart at any position because you are far from your home.dont try to invade other hostels (kings palaces) without permission.dont let your doors open when you're going to bathroom or filling water or going study room.
