Remarks

I opted for this college as it is the institute of national importance and morever due to the rank which i got in jee mains, this was the best choice. The students from different parts of the country come here for their graduation which provides students better exposure to different personalities which may prove beneficial for their overall development. Morever it a well established college in the city. I took electronics and communication course because this field has huge potential and opportunities in the future. This course is very diverse and the need for the future. So these were the reasons which drove me to take admission into this college and the above mentioned course.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our syllabus could be said somewhat outdated but still better than most of the colleges. We are given somewhat less industrial exposure as per my experience of 2 years. Some of the facilities are really nice and they would help you throughout the course.Eg ravinder singh, amritpal singh.

Class Size: 120Course Fees: INR 79500 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

The job opportunities are really decent in this college. Various big tech giants like Microsoft, Samsung,Adobe, jp morgan, oracle,Amazon, deloitte and many more companies yearly visit the campus for placements.

College Events

Our college holds 2 big fests every year namely tech fest and utkansh. Tech fest is basically held for 2 days and students from all over the country participate in big numbers.Various technical events are held during the fest. The most awaited fest for the college is utkansh. It is the college cultural fest. It is the fest which refills energy into the students and removes boredom from their lives. The most awaited event in this fest is the dj night. The college invites various famous personalities for performances.

My Experince at Chandigarh University: Campus Life, Learning and Growth

Likes

The campus is beautiful, spacious, and offers good infrastructure with modern facilities.
The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

Dislikes

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

University life

Likes

The infrastructure and faculty is very good. The university campus is very big containing different departments with the well qualified teachers. The teaching methods are very good and we can approach easily to the management for our queries.
The discipline is very well in the university campus. The proper follow up of rules and regulations is there in the campus. The rules regarding ragging are very strict and nobody will be forgive if caught in such offences.
The placement rate of the university is quite well in each and every department whether it is biosciences or engineering or any other department. The university ensures that each and every deserving student should get placement.

Dislikes

The first thing I dislike about university is the students are not allowed to use lifts because for some departments the classes takes place on top floors and it is very difficult for students to climb those floors multiple times.
The other thing I dislike is the problem of traffic outside the main campus gate in morning mad evening time. It take lot of time to get out of that traffic and it ultimately makes students late for their classes.
The last thing I dislike is there is no free transportation services for students inside campus because the size of university is very big and to go from one point to other the students have to walk a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course offers theoretical as well as practical knowledge It prepare me very well for outside life and obstacles that I will face in outside world I think individual students must be asked for learning There is no such difficulty level
