Remarks

The environment in the college, the ability to express yourself freely, and also the ability to interact with facilities whenever required. The ability to freely choose our own timetable and also sort out our extracurricular activities so that everything we do is done at our best

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is planned in a way that we can comfortably understand everything and clear our doubts. Academic calendar, is set according to the convenience of the faculties and students. Faculties have a particular timetable and we are allowed to ask doubts whenever they are available and free.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 450000 per year

Placement Experience

Core companies such as CSE, EEE, ECE, IT and their sub branches have a high rate of placements and other branches placements are not very good. Also because most of the students prefer going for higher studies.

College Events

Campus Life is very good compared to other colleges, we have cafes and restaurants inside the campus and even in our hostels supermarket is available where we get everything needful and in emergency there is also a medical center inside the hostel. A lot of events take place depending on the occasion and also during the weekends to make us feel lively. We have a lot of clubs and chapters of which we can be a part and it not only helps us pass time but also teaches us a lot in every aspect of life.

Campus Life

Excellent. The infrastructure is, very environment friendly and peaceful and green. It gives a fresh feeling everyday and each building is made in a way so that it gets proper ventilation and sunlight. The plantation is done very well and always gives us a fresh feeling.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel rooms are quite good, spacious and maids come to clean the room everyday, the balcony and washroom are so cleaned everyday. Supervisor are allotted to keep a check on the cleanliness. There are also surveys taken in the presence of VC to ensure everything is happening properly. Mess is so good, 4 times a day meal is provided. Not very great food but compared to other colleges I think it's food is better.

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Sathyabama is value for money

Likes

the classrooms in specialization are air conditioned
faculty is supportive for academic growth

Dislikes

the attendance is strict at 75% and subject attendances upto 80%
you cannot exit campus before 3.15 pm under any circumstances

Placement Experience:

The placements are very decent and they provide internships as early career opportunities as well in 3rd year of studies and the college possess high conversion rates through these internships which support the resume with actual corporate exposure

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

At 8th semester the students can become eligible for campus placement and the companies visited more oftens are win etc the highest packages about 25 LP and average packers about 2.5 lpa percentage of students getting placement is above 80 percentage.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester
