Remarks

It is the best college in Tamil Nadu and best NIT of India. The college is known for producing some of the big names in our civil engineering field. I choose civil engineering because i have interest in it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum and syllabus is updated regularly as per the advancements and developments made in the industry, which makes students industry-ready. Teachers here are of brilliant and some.of them being experts in their fields. Most of the faculty are PhD holders from top IITs, NITs and other prestigious institutions across the world.

Class Size: 51Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience

Some of the top recruiting companies of our college are L&T, Tata Projects, etc. Roles like graduate engineer trainee, data analyst are offered. You can even get high packages if.you know CSE and sit for their placements.

College Events

Many big fests are organised like Festember, Pragyan, NITT fest, Moments and many more. Technical and management events are held regularly. Robotics competition is also held and draws lot of participation.

Campus Life

There is a seperate civil engineering department with separate labs for every subject like fluids, environmental studies, the strength of materials etc. There is big seminar hall with air-conditioners. WiFi is available. There is a hospital in the campus which is working 24x7 with Apollo Pharmacy, where medical facilities are provided free of cost. 4big sports ground are there.

Likes

The salary package is also good which is provided based on the company profile The placement cell supports students in various placement opportunities making all the students get placed while completing the degree After completing my degree, my plan is to start my career in a suitable role related to Human Resources or Finance, gain practical industry experience, and gradually develop my professional skills

College management is very good. few students moments like recent protest (Ambedkar-Periyar study circle) disturbing the students attention. Ministry should allow the management to take decisions for their progress.

The entrance exam for MCA NITT is NIMCET . i got AIR 7 in NIMCET 2022 . There are 45 general seats for MCA and also there are category based reservation . The NIMCET exam is conducted in June and form filling date is tilll April of every year. Form fees for NIMCET is 2,500 for general and OBC. The syllabus for NIMCET is similar to JEE . NIT Trichy is the best choice

This college has a good Placements record. In 2020, NIRF ranking for the institution is 9. It has good faculty to student ratio and Research Facilities are also very good.
