Remarks

Being the best Engineering college of entire South India, this college is a dream for many. The best part of the college is the infrastructure it provides which is excellent. I choose mechanical engineering because i love to know about functioning and designing of a machine and learning about different automobiles.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course curriculum lags behind the time, but management makes lots of efforts to improve that. Faculty are experienced. They are friendly, well- qualified. Most of the faculty is helpful and ever ready to clear your doubts.

Class Size: 49Course Fees: INR 760000 per year

Placement Experience

The highest salary package offered is 75lakhs per annum and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 lakhs per annum.Some of the top recruiting companies are Tata, Bajaj, GE, Caterpillar, Reliance, Exxon Mobil, TVS, ITC, etc. Roles like design, production, operations management, R&D sector, are offered during placements.

College Events

Great campus life which is stress free and full of entertainment as many fests are organised by both management and the students. You can join any of the college socities if you are interested in any of the extracurricular activities.

Wifi is available. Classrooms are equipped with modern projectors, and some of the classrooms have ACs. There are enough sports equipments and enough playground in the sports centre. Labs have all the latest equipments

Likes

The college staffs are friendly and staffs are also very much involved into extracurricular activities.
The college has well maintained lavatories
The staffs send us internship opportunities

Dislikes

The drinking water facilities are poor and not well utilized
The college dont have active participation or training for sports, but they are focusing more now.
Water stagnates during rain at college premising and has poor bike parking facilities

Placement Experience:

The college brings in mass recruiters during the placement season during 7th semester itself and companies, the avg package would be 4-5 LPA and companies with high pakages also come in for hiring but has huge competition.

the college could improve its pratical learning modern laboratory facilities industry exposure internship oppornities and placement support more interactive teaching methods and better career guidance would benefits students.
the college has knowledgeable and supportive faculty a friendly campus environment good learning facilities and opportunities to participate in events and build friendships the curriculum provides a strong theoretical foundation.
campus life is enjoyable and students generally interact well with each other the girls to boys ration is approximately depending on the course and batch overall the college offers a good learning environment with scope for improvement.

Dislikes

the college needs to improve its laboratory facilities and provide more pratical sessions workshops and hands on learning opportunities to help students gain industry relevant skills.

Placement Experience:

the college provides placement opportunities for eligible students generally starting from the sixth or seventh semester depending on the course and company requirement companies from different sectors visit the campus to recruit students for roles such as trainee software developer analyst and other entry level positions the number of companies visiting offers made and salary packages varies each years.

Many clubs available from Toastmasters to Campus Life, Our club Toastmasters is one of the peak highlights of our college. We regularly go to corporates to attend meetings of their clubs and network a lot.
Love the Research setup of our college. Has more than 15 COEs present. ABB research centre is the best among them
The bring in a lot of industry professionals every.One or the other event always keeps happening.

Dislikes

Campus is not very huge since it's in the centre of the city but the outside shops make up for this

Placement Experience:

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

You will be Able to have a budget friendly life here

Dislikes

Faculties are not upto mark but they are ok
The infrastructure is not good but yes they are improving
Very bad toilet facilities, campus is not that big

Campus placement is possible here You will get intership from nimhans Bangalore and many great places There is campus placement but Id rather recommend to have other methods coz you will get great package for this course than the place they are placing us.

I applied in many colleges like IIT'S ,NIT'S AND CENTRAL UNIVERSITY. I was not getting any IIT so after that I chose this college because of its brand value,nirf ranking,alumini network and the peer group it holds .i did not got IIT because of my marks as I haven't scored enough in ncet exam for clearing their cut off. for admission you have to had physics, chemistry,maths in you class 12th with atleast 50 percent.although each college have different different requirement.after that you have to get good marks in ncet exam and you must have taken the subject in ncet exam that you are applying to get .for more information related admission you can check admission brochure at nit Trichy website they publish before opening registration for new admission....Read More

The entrance exam for MCA NITT is NIMCET . i got AIR 7 in NIMCET 2022 . There are 45 general seats for MCA and also there are category based reservation .
