1. It is the best college to placed yourself in it sector. You must have a chance to prove yourself in college. The teachers are very knowledgeable and teach very well. The only bad thing is the college is too strict about attendance. Those who are preparing for other entrance exams or job exams then should skip admission to the Academy of Technology. 2. The admission process is very simple. It is happening by counseling of wbjeeb and some of the students got a direct chance by their jee mains rank and wbjee rank. 3. There are several courses in engineering and computer application. Engineering dept- 1. mechanical engineering 2.electrical engineering 3.electronics and communication engineering 4. Computer science engineering 5. Computer science and business studies engineering 6.electrical and electronics engineering. Masters: MCA The facilities are very well most of the facilities are from Jadavpur University and rajabajar Science College. And some of the facilities are from IIT, IIEST. There are 2 internal exams in a semester .and 2 term paper ( assignments) in a semester.

From 7th sem anyone seat for campusing. Most placed students are from computer science engineering. Although more than 90% of total students placed from the college. The companies like TCS, Capgemini, cognizant, tech Mahindra, ITC, Wipro, persistent, Amazon, godrage, simens many more. The avg package is around 4.5 LPA.

The fee structure is around 41000 -45000 every semester. And the admission fees are separately extra 20000-25000 along with 1st-semester fees. Half tuition fees waiver and full tuition fees waiver is available in this college. But anyone should be serious about their attendance and studies forget any scholarship. There are also students loan available. And some extra 30000-35000 rs taken by college to give special traing for placement for a student.

Arcadia is the name of the cultural fest in the Academy of Technology. Techfestia is the name of the tech fest in the Academy of Technology. Both are happening in the month of April-may with a gap of 1 week. There is a huge library and all types of books available here. There is also a digital library. There are projectors in some classes.
