Remarks

I always wanted to take admission in Delhi University and Gargi is one of the best college of Delhi University. I opted for maths honours because of my interest and the college has good maths faculty. Also the college helps in overall development of the student by organising various seminars and talks.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is well updated. The teachers of mathematics department are very helpful and cooperative. Also they are well qualified and always ready to clear our doubts. The college also seminars to make the students aware about the various options after the degree. But the college doesn't provide any industrial exposure.

Placement Experience

The placement cell of the college is active. They provide you with a lot of internship opportunities from time to time. The placements of maths department, however, is not good. But the placement of other departments is average. The placement cell try to bring up to you the best opportunities that they can.

College Events

The campus life is awesome. There are various socities in our college like dance, singing, theatre, etc. The socities of our college are famous all across DU. The college also organises various events. The most famous ones are reviere and zistava. The call some famous band or singer every year in reviere. They also organise intra college sports competitions from time to time.

Infrastructure and classrooms for students.
Overall exposire given like rural imersion and outbound leadership programs for students.

Dislikes

The campus is a bit short and has limited premises
The senior junior relationship which can be stressful for introvert students
No bus facilities given for students travelling acress ncr region

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the first year and there are companies that comes highest package is around 20+ Lpa and the minimum average is 11 lakhs for all the students after the degree.

Infrastructure was appreciable with no major shortage of laboratories
Senior-Junior interaction compensated the average faculty

Dislikes

Outdated curriculum negatively impacted the conceptual clarity
Too difficult to secure good grades due to strict marking
Mediocre support provided to student led initiative

Course curriculum was evidently outdated and irrelevant to modern engineering challenges and could have severely disadvantaged students' learning outcomes. Although, interaction with seniors compensated this.

Likes

The companies coming for internships are great
The experienced faculty who came from IIMs
The experienced clubs and their guidance

Dislikes

There is bit of mismanagement experienced,
There is last minute information available at the end moment
Disclarity in information throughout the whole semester

Placement Experience:

It is okay and it is based on luck of the student more than hardwork. You also have to network super well to get into good dream companies. It is a good place to get it out of luck through ATS sysytem.

Likes

Teaching style is good , the way they interact is overall good
Very good infrastructure with ac classrooms

Placement Experience:

In first trimister itself student become eligible for summer internships and then in next year that is fifth semester they become eligible for placement opportunities from the college itself and college try its best that everyobe get placed

Honest review of ddu

Likes

The teaching faculty is really nice and polite. They usually help students even when u contact them after college hours.
The engagements and the quality of the social interactions in this college is also very good and very uplifting.
The quality of the infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges in du, considering its very new.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the thought of learning about the literature of the older times was pretty exciting to me while I was choosing the course. The curriculum however does prepares you if you want to continue ur academic journey in the English field.

Wonderful life experience that can't be forgotten.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.

Hindu College was certainly the dream place and score too was enough to get admission there. However, my parents sent me to Delhi with a condition that I can apply only in Ladies college.
