Remarks

I was passionate about this course from very starting of my higher secondary education. I choose this college as it is near my house, thus easier to travel. The review I got from alumnis were great which drived me for joining this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

My curriculum is regulated once in 5 years. The regulation is done by Anna university ( Tamil Nadu). There are many faculties who are well trained and very friendly to the students. We have industrial visit twice per year.

Internships Opportunities

I have interned in CPCL without stipend for a week.

Placement Experience

4

There is a placement cell which helps students to prepare for placement right from 1st semester. There are more than 15 companies which hire students.More than 300 students are placed per batch. Alumnis of college help us by conducting seminars for enlightenment.

College Events

3.5

We get opportunities to establish our self academic vise as well as extra curricular activities too. College provides opportunities to join other courses apart from the programs given by the college which will be helpful for higher studies and placement. We have swagath for freshers. Department symposiums and tech events, adukalam (sports event ) and college culturals. Students can join NCC, NSS, roadtrack, IEEE, Proud group, Vulcans depending on their interest.

Campus Life

It is great, we have a huge library which is common for all departments and department vise library too. WiFi is not available. Lab is moderately equipped. We have cricket net, volley ball, Coco, throw ball, table tennis, basket ball court and gym for the hostel students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course based on the content of the University curriculum which was strongly followed by the institution. All the departments follow the University syllabus both theory and practicals. The maximum number of students for the MSc course is 10 but we were 2 in my class and the faculties ( 10 faculties in Biochemistry, 12 faculties in Microbiology, 8 in Hematology and 6 in Pathology, 4 in Genetics (part of Hematology and Pathology) and 2 in Epidemiology and Biostatistics) as of our time in both theory and practicals. In addition, there are many laboratory postings where you learn even more. There were atleast 5 Professors, 9 Associate Professors/Assistant Professors, 7 PhDs that directly taught us. The University exams come on October 15th of each year, there are 3 Internal assessments and 1 model exam. If you go through the internal assessment and the model exam, the University exam will not be difficult for you.
