Remarks

I opted for this institution because it has a pretty historic legacy of being a reputed engineering institute producing fine graduates. It is one of the oldest engineering colleges in India. It was also closer to home, so I decided for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum was more or less up to date with respect to the current industry standards. I wont be able to vouch for all the departments, but I haven't heard any genuine problems from my mates from other departments. Maybe in the circuit branches, there were some topics which were redundant, I am not fully sure. We did have good training programs, coupled with a residential training course in partnership with IIT Kanpur. Faculties are pretty good. Well, they are as good as you make them to be. Cant comment much.

Placement Experience

Depends a lot on the current market scenario, job profiles offered by the companies and the departments they allow to sit for it. It has been competing really well in terms of it's contemporaries in this part of the country. We have good core placements (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), which otherwise is not much of a highlight in placements usually, given the state of core profiles in the country. Nothing alarming to be worried about

College Events

Campus life is what you make out of it. I explored myself a lot and had the best times of my life there. Our cultural fest REBECA is one of the oldest in India, while INSTRUO, the techno-management fest has been attracting great minds in it's participation over the last 10 years.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not availed any scholarships from the college. But there are ample opportunities for deserving students.

Campus Life

We have a pretty decent and compatible infrastructure, not that every bit of it is state of the art, but doable. Labs are more or less good, though there is much room for improvement. The Central Library has a wide range of books and journals ranging through various topics. We have football grounds with properly maintained natural grass, which gets attention from many private organisations. We recently inaugurated a state of the art basketball court.

Hostel Facilities

I have stayed in hostel throughout my college life. Though not much state of the art, they are pretty much livable. Washrooms are cleaned everyday, lawns mowed and balconies swept. Mess food is pretty good. The mess manager is one among the students, so the choice of the menu is student dependent.

Likes

One of the things i liked the most was the quality of lecture given by the professors
The campus is very spacious the college has every facility
A fully equipted studio and lab for Journalism students

Dislikes

Things i disliked was the most has to be the locality the college is really nice but the locality is a bit shady

I always wanted to take up Journalism as a career and the thing which caught my attention in this college is that they have a fully equipted studio room and other colleges may have one but the students even publish there own news report here it prepars us very well for the real world

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Likes

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Dislikes

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

Since the syllabus is quite up to date, students learn a lot and are way ahead of their age group students. Most of the students qualify for placements with attractive packages. The university also encourages internships that carry credits in their academic report.

I did not apply for any other college. I applied for colleges in josaa and the ones which were above IIEST, I considered few of them better and few due to NIRF ranking. The admission process if very simple. One will have to give jee after that they will have to apply for josaa counselling. If they have good enough rank, and they get any branch then they will be have to come to the college on the date specified by the college on their website.
