Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus was relevant. Every concept was taught in both a practical and theoretical ways. Enough Industrial experience was provided with MoUs signed with major companies. R&D facilities encouraged us to try the concepts in practice. And Labs were opened for us even after the end of the day. Sometimes, 24 hours. Faculties are encouraging and have command over their subjects. S.K. Nayak, Rishitosh Ranjan, Smarnika Nayak, B.C. Router and other such faculties are knowledgeable and helpful.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements keep happening all year-round. Companies like Honda, Google, Hyundai, Byju, Musigma, Deloitte, HCL, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, L&T, Tata, etc. visit every year. The placement process is simple. Test, followed by GD and PI. Some other rounds may happen, but that depends on the company policies only. Sometimes, our seniors come to recruit us. That explains that the reach of the college is very wide. Overall, the placement procedure is simple, and the college staff is ever ready to guide the students.

College Events

5

There is not a single day in KIIT when there is nothing going on. KSAC is very active and organizes events regularly. Students are given enough freedom to held any fest, and the nearby police station is always ready to assist students whenever required. KIITFEST is one of the largest college fests in India and is an attraction to several students in and outside India. KIITMUN is the largest in Asia and attracts students from foreign too. Celebrities like Sunidhi Chauhan, Zakir Khan, etc. perform in such fests.

Campus Life

25000-acre campus. Free Wifi. Every student is provided a laptop which is of the latest quality and of reputed brands like DELL, LENOVO, etc. Hostels are both AC & non-AC. Classrooms are fully AC. Projectors are installed in almost every class. For leisure, there are many facilities. Gyms, basketball courts, tennis courts, cafeterias, CCD, nearby restaurants, Rose garden, MBA Campus, Rock Garden, KIMS, KSAC, Cricket Stadium. In short, KIIT has almost every infrastructural facility possible.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences - [AIIMS], Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
Reviewed on Nov 14, 2024(Enrolled 2020)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to become a doctor, and MBBS is the first step to become one, so I choose this course. This course makes you a primary care physician, capable of providing basic healthcare services. And being a bachelor's degree, this is a stepping stone for the future endeavours in medico life. Though I feel there's room for improvement in the flexibility of the course, as there's not much to choose what to study. Exams are once in 2-3 months, and are moderately difficult, except the professional exams, for which you have to put your best efforts

Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital - [IMS & SUM Hospital], Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
Reviewed on May 13, 2024(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well MBBS is a serving degree, if you are interested in serving the people you can choose this degree. It also needs a lot of patience, here we have classes from 7 AM so its a bit hard to wake up this early & ends at 4 PM which causes more trouble coz u won't get to rest properly, usually we end up being tired & lack of sleep, so I think this schedule can have a bit more change with regards to us children. The exams here are done very frequently, as in the class tests are taken up time to time , sometimes surprise tests are also done so u have to be very updated with what's being studied each cls.The internals are held in every trimester & at the end of the year a product exam is being held which is the important one.
