Remarks :

First of all I must say about my department and Professors. They are so friendly and cooperative. A teacger-student relationship really matters and important. Second the college has a eco-friendly atmosphere and well structured. The central library is more than efficient. And I took admission under the WBSU affiliated college just because of less competition because of less colleges and students in order to certain a good mark. I really mean it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The syllabus is according to the ugc guidelines and as similar as the other well known universities follow. Nothing different. It's completely up to date. I particularly mention my English faculty. I feel so blessed after 3 years of my graduation to have my Professors. They are completely prone to take classes, even more than the allotted time.

Placement Experience :

This college is particularly for ug courses, except having some pg courses. And it's not a technical engineering college that provides the direct opportunity or job placement. So the point doesn't work here. What the college can give you is good and well minded Professors, their guidance, motivation, good results if students are sincere, a very good library and some beautiful personality. And it can provide you a beautifully structured infrastructure.

College Events :

Students' Union arranges the annual programme named 'DHUN' every year by recollection so many advertisement and sponsorship. The college has its own magazine also. Many guests are invited in the annual function. Many colleges are invited. Besides the guests students also perform the extracurricular activity on live stage. Apart from it educational seminars are also organized by the departments as per their individual concern. And the college also celebrated the special occasions throughout the year.

Campus Life :

I'm personally not specified about sports facilities. But there is a good wifi facility around the campus. The central library is a great source of reference books for the students. The library has a well organized decorum. It has a big reading room, beside it has many shelfs outside the library to keep your bag. There is a registration copy in order to sign up your signature as you are entering the library. It has a computer facility in order to search the availability of the reference books you want. Science labs are equally well protected and efficient.

Our senior batch had a good number of placements with satisfying salary packages. There will be good placement opportunities in the college in future. A placement cell is available in our college, and it's efficient enough to bring companies to our college to offer placements. FROM 7TH SEMESTER STUDENTS are eligible for campus placements. In the period of lockdown, online campus drive and placements are happening. The placement percentage is over 90%. Visited companies: Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Bosch, IBM, Infosys, BTL EPC, HCL etc. These are just some of the names of renowned companies, there are other various companies also.

Before the placement statistics you have to Know one thing that is Calcutta University has started 4 year's BTech in 2015, before it, the University used to provide a Bsc BTech program for 80 years (approx). So, now you can imagine the alumni network and the reputation of this Institution in the corporate field. The average package is all around 5-6 LPA. I am giving you the placement statistics of my department that is Chemical Engineering. Among all Department in CU, Chemical Engineering Department has the highest placement statistics. About 90% of the batch is placed every year. Companies like Haldia petrochemical, Technip, Linde, Hindustan Unilever, Excide Battery, Balmaer Lawrie, Asian paint, Berger, Appolo tire, BARC, IOCL, ONGC, Diamond Beverage, Sun pharma, Pfizer etc, provide Placement and internship opportunities. Remarks :

It is affiliated under Calcutta University, and it is a private college with strict disciplinary and proper etiquette. I opted for this line because apart from respect and knowledge a person practising law gets rid of the blinding fear of law. It is well organised and developed. It has a well maintained premises and organised affairs. Though it is recent it has made its position in the top private college list. The faculty here is esteemed and highly qualified. Students are well groomed every year with new teaching techniques and valuable mottos.

Placement Experience :

The placements and job opportunities are done on the basis of skill and knowledge. It encourages students to come up with new ideas and enhances them for a start up. Internships and secured jobs are provided inside State as well as in abroad with proper qualifications. It also enhances good networking for job referrals.

Remarks :

My parents wanted me to complete my graduation from Kolkata and this was a good option for management studies. So talking about techno India University Kolkata it is basically known for it's technical education but they're doing good for management department too and I feel like it's a safe option to pursue your BBA from here.

Placement Experience :

The placement department is hopeless for the management department they try to invite some companies but according to my seniors mostly poor roles are provided and students tends to pursue their masters after the completion. Companies like TCS, Byjus, Paytm, Deloitte, wipro visits campus for placement and the average pay is around 3lpa. The alumni network is still growing not much to brag about. I think the placement team should start working hard and take the placement season seriously for the students.

Remarks :

Previously I completed BBA from the same institution. The senior professors are amazing, they are more like friends. One can approach them with any question without any hesitation. The environment was very nice. But now I regret taking admission here because the higher authorities are more into politics. Student's interests are not being taken care of. Some of the senior faculties (I mentioned below) have left the college, a few of them will be retiring within 2 months. We are only left with a few best professors.

Placement Experience :

Placement completely depends on the student. The college has tie-up with a few companies. The placement of last year batch was quite good.
