Jadavpur University is the 5th best University by NIRF, Govt of India and one of the premier educational institutions of India with exceptional and high quality faculty members in every aspect of its education. It provides a plethora of opportunities and freedom to be what you are and culminates your inner strength and talent to grow and show up.
Course Curriculum Overview
It has got one of the best faculties in India and the state, no doubt in that section. The course is very much updated with todays world and we have also a high number of foreign University collaborations with us with a decent amount of Industrial exposure but not much, a decent one.
Placement Experience
It is nice. Placement is decent for my course but for other courses it is highly good. Alumni networks are excellent too.
College Events
Campus life is worth remembering to each and every life of a JU person. It is one of the best things you will get in JU if you are not that satisfied with its infrastructure. It has 10 different clubs including Photography, painting, film n theatres, science, literary, music, fashion, dance, drama, mountaineering and a lots of other cultural stuffs. You will surely enjoy it. Apart from that we have E- Cell and Gymnasium too.
Campus Life
Libraries are awesome, it is more than enough amount of that be it Departmental Library or Central Libraby. You will not be able to find any book which is not there in our libraries. Also we have nice wi fi facilities but only for the work purposes of research scholars, professors and to some students also. We have got a huge playground, a basketball court and a cricket pitch separately. Laboratories are too well developed, some are dirty as usual in case of Govt Colleges/Universities but it works well.
