Remarks

one of the biggest and beautiful campus in a bangalore city, nice enviornment and decent placement scenario almost all the mass recruiter companies come to our college and many dream companies also come. Our college is near to Global tech park so all the companies over there come to our college for placement

Course Curriculum Overview

My college is VTU affliated college but they are saying soon we will become an autonomous institute under VTU which will be great but right now VTU syllabus is not so updated and faculties are fine few of them are good few of them are okay and few are worse

Class Size: 62Course Fees: INR 201033 per year

Placement Experience

All the mass recruiter companies come to our college and many dream companies also come tour college oue college is in kengeri area and Global tech park is very close to it so all the companies in the tech park comes to our college for placement

College Events

campus life is fine if you are a south indian student then you will enjoy more because events organised basically based on a there culture generally there are more kannada language speaker and this is the area where college have to emprove themselves

Campus Life

campus is big and beautiful there is a ground and various courts basketball, badminton, kabbadi, tennis, volleyvall. there is a separate building of central library and departmental libraries there are different buildings for different branches

Hostel Facilities

hostel rooms are big and airy but there is hostel timming which irritates some time and they are very strict about there rules but the mess food is not so good but it is manageable but some times you just can't have it

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). Good Infrastructure and Career Opportunities

Likes

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

Students got opportunity to eligible after 3rd year mainly in 7th semester students get opportunity for campus interview. In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company

very first thing i like in the college is the wifi network,
the library which is very peace and silent
average places to take photos and nearby there is nandi hills to visit

Dislikes

i dislike the distance of the college, its too large, should walk soo much
the cost of stationaries in the general store
i dont think so faculy are that much expertise , only countable people worth it

Course Curriculum Overview:

see i have choosed this course because it is very relatable to CSE, coz my ranking was not sufficient to get this course. the course which i took "Information Science and Engineering" is really a good course. they make us real world engineers. the area they shld actually improve is, hiring worthable faculty.

Insights of the Gopalan college of engineering and Management by a First Year Student

Likes

Canteen is fine has nice and tasty food and quite a lot of options
Library is also good has every book related to my course and few others as well
Lab facilities are also very nice and the college has a nice crowd

Dislikes

It's nothing like I expected, they don't let students use the ground or turfs. Facilities are pretty bad.
They charge money for everything and has zero facilities for college students. Everything is for there school students.
College is very small and the faculties are rude to students. (Mostly the case)

Placement Experience:

Student are eligible for placements from there 7th semester but I wouldn't recommend relying on college for placements. Not many companies come to this college so placements are really bad. If u have skills it would be better to apply to companies on your own. I don't have details on how many students gets placed but as much as I know it's about 30-50 % And average package is also very low. I plan of gaining skills and certification on my own and job hunting myself in 4th year through my connections and internships. Or maybe go abroad for masters As I'm a first year student I don't know much about which companies come and how much they offer.
