Remarks

I chose this college because i got great reviews from the alumni. The course was what i wanted. The faculty is also great. I also wanted to move to another city for college and mumbai was a dream come true. This college give you a great experience and exposure

Course Curriculum Overview

It is very updated. It gives me practical knowledge. This course has really helped me look at things in a different way. the professors offer in depth knowledge with real life current scenario case studies.

Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I am currently doing an internship with eduvanz financing for 10k per month

We have great companies like HUL, Mackenzie, deolitte etc visting. With a great placement percentage. The college alumni is also great with refferals. The profiles offered are some of the best a UG grad can get

College Events

College is full of societies, fests and events. Its also compulsory to participate to get points that affect your marks which i think is great. It brings everyone out of their shell. They also focus on volunteering work thats also compulsory and this helps students.

Campus Life

Our college has one of the oldest and most beautiful buildings. One of the reason why i was sp drawn to it. The college is in the middle of the city. Not an extensive area but it is beautiful and all the facilities are provided

Hostel Facilities

College does not have a hostel for women. So i opted for one about 8 kms away. This is a beautiful hostel. 5 sharing bedrooms. It costs around 50, 000 per year which is really affordable living in mumbai

Placement Experience:

Campus placements begin in the 7th semester . COmpanies like TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant and Wipro visit regularly. Around 50 percent get placed , not all by college but by themselves.

Placements depend on the companies willing to organise an interview with the students. 75% of the students landed a job for 50000 after internship. Only one company visited us this year. On an average the package would be starting from 35000. My plans after getting my degree are to get a job and upskill myself soon after.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester. Companies like ABC Corp, XYZ Ltd visited, offering various roles. Highest package was 10 LPA, avg was 5 LPA. Around 80% students get placed. If no campus placement, focus on internships, networking, and job search post-graduation. After the degree, I plan to pursue a career in the field, aiming for roles in design or manufacturing.

I plan to work and learn after getting the degree.

My Review on ICEM, Parandwadi, Pune.

Remarks:

I applied to this college only because it's cut off score for MHT-CET exam was near about my own score in the same exam, I was not eligible for any good colleges in Pune or Pimpri-Chinchwad limits. Frankly, there are no strong and good points to suggest this college to anyone. College is situated in Parandwadi village, from Pimpri the distance is 21 kms one side, the transport facility provided by the college is worst, the placement cell has given up on jobs related to Mechanical field, the college stresses more on submissions rather than actual Teaching-Learning process, many of the practical setups are under maintenance. Lastly, if you have to do Engineering anyhow, that too near Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad cities, then ICEM should be your last option.

Campus life at xaviers

I choose Xavier's because the BMS course it offers is one of the best and is very affordable as well , I was comparing Xavier's with christ,nmis etc. the BMS course offered in their college is extremely expensive and not as reputed as Xavier's and the placements that they offers is not good as Xavier's as well,Xavier's also has a good alumini and good word of mouth than these colleges, as for the admission into courses like BMS ,BMM,BSC-IT there is an entrance test called XAT and we have to clearit, the weightage is 60% score form the entrance test 40% from board exam scores and the final round will be an interview after which it is decided if one is selected for the course or not there is a reservation for Christan quota in the college as it is an Jesuits run college...Read More
