Remarks

The faculty, course structure, and hands on learning were the main reasons. VIT is one of the most famous and a popular college. It is known for its NIRF rankings and its placement offers for undergrad students. While applying to this college what made me favour it was its course outline and how they provided an all rounded curriculum that provided both theoretical and industry based learning. Moreover the faculty here has no less than a masters degree from some of the most reputed institutes in the world. The fests, both technical and cultural are pretty famous in India. My decision has been proven right until now. Apart from a few strict rules, VIT proves to be an amazing college overall.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus gets updated almost every year with experts from the industry mainly deciding what's in trend. The syllabus is generally well defined and relevant to industry. As with any other non-IIT college, you'll have to be self motivated if you think of yourself as a person beyond a coding or a non-tech job, i.e. if you really think of yourself as a highly motivated individual willing to push the boundaries, you'll receive a lot of help from your coursework.

Placement Experience

5

The average placement of a CSE student is around 6–7 Lakhs per annum, while the highest offer are around 25–35 lakhs depending upon the company and the job profile.

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Studying Master of commerce is okay. The same thing and few same subjects which I studied in undergraduate. Classes are good and we are also having some gaps. Not a big difference and 1 or 2 subjects are new for us. I want to suggest that to give holiday after the semester exams. But not before that. It is quite difficult for us to study. It will be easy for us to ask doubts.
