Remarks
KIIT is one of the best private colleges in India with a very good NIRF ranking. Among the other colleges which I had options to go KIIT was the best. Moreover, it is at an adequate distance from my home town.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very well designed which includes most of the aspects which the current industry required. Seminars and workshops are being held for industrial exposure. The faculties are mostly Ph.D. and many are involved in the research.
Placement Experience
One can get ample opportunities in placement and internships. Almost more than 100+ companies visit the campus each year which includes companies like High Radius, Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, etc. The placement department works really hard and ensures that each student gets placed.
College Events
One can have the most enjoyable campus life in KIIT. Here students come from different parts of the country. For extracurricular activities, there are a lot of clubs and societies present on the campus in which one can get involved. It has dance, debate, singing, Robotics, drama, etc, and many other societies available. All over the year events are being held. And a 3 day Fest is also held which is one of its kind which involved both cultural and technical events.
Campus Life
The campus is spread around 700 acres which includes medical college, Management college, etc. WiFi is available 24x7. There is a central library with over 10 lakhs book and many more library in each department. Almost all the known sports can be found on the campus and is open for all the year students. The equipment in the labs is well maintained and includes all the modern equipment.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is really good. I have opted for a premium facility hostel room which is a two-bedded AC room and includes an attached washroom. It has an option for two and three-bed rooms which involved both AC and non-AC rooms. Almost everyone stays in the hostel and the hostel seats are well enough.
