I chose this because of the brand of Panjab University. Plus you get a lot of exposure of Chandigarh and there are a lot of opportunities there based on your field, even better than Delhi. Plus you never get distracted in Chandigarh because of the reason that people are too much work and ethics focused. Also, the level of knowledge the teachers have in my college is just great.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course curriculum was moderate. Since it's India, UGC regulates everything, so our college authorities are not decision makers. Industrial exposure is awesome. Lots of industry experts visit us and sometimes we visit to them.

Placement Experience
There are a lot of companies that visited like Goldman Sachs(10 students), Amazon(21 students) Google(1 student) Flipkart(5 students) EcomExpress(8 students) ZS Associates (43 students) etc and the list goes long. Placement process is just similar to any college. First the aptitude, then Group discussion or video interview, followed by Technical and HR interviews. Alumni base is not so good. We hardly know any of our alumni and there are no Alumni centres sort of things. For start ups, I’m unaware of any from my known college people.
College Events
Campus life is also awesome. PECFEST is one of the top fests in India with footfall of almost 20000 people. Also, there are a lot of other literary engineering plus cultural fests happening every week
Campus Life
Infrastructure was typically of a foreign university. The classrooms were spacious. The sports fields were good and the cleanliness level is just too good. WiFi is just super fast. You won’t get that speed even in an IT company. Library size is just too big that you can use it as a wedding banquet.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel life is just good. Rooms aren’t that too big but it’s still the favourite. Beds occupy most of the room space. Hostels Seats allotment depends on your JEE rank. But you can easily find a lot of PG’s nearby ranging from 3000-15000, depends on your comfort and adjusting level. You need to struggle hard to get hostel, it entirely depends on your marks in JEE MAINS
