SDMCET, MBBS

Remarks

The infrastructure and faculty of the institute are a sudden infatuation. My priority was a Private college as the government ones don't have proper hospitals and cleanliness. Also, I had heard a lot about this College from my friends and family.

Course Curriculum Overview

The major exposure one gets in a Medical college is from its clinical postings. This College provides a daily clinical class of three hours right from the second year up to the final year which is excellently handled by the very mature faculty. While in the first year, they have an excellent Dissection Lab with adequate cadavers for each student to learn and grow accordingly.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 425000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Compulsory Rotatory Internship is to be done after course completion in the same College for 1 year with a stipend of ?8000.

Placement Experience

2.5

There is nothing such as placement after MBBS. Students may go for Job or Pg preparation. However anybody who wants to work easily gets a salary of 60000 to 1200000 in any government or private setup.

College Events

3.5

The college holds an annual fest with the name Deja Vu where there is a vast participation from its sibling SDM Engineering and SDM Dental College. There are also many interuniversity, interdistrict, interstate sports competitions organised in the campus.

Campus Life

The campus has a beautiful infrastructure. It has a football ground, a cricket ground, a basketball court, a tennis court, a swimming pool and an indoor stadium. The library is 2 storeyed building with digital access.

Hostel Facilities

Yes form 1 st year it self. And the food in mess is very good and u can have breakfast as paratha and food is also good toilets are bad but cleared soon and the hostel has allot of greenery and away from hospital

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

Grand opportunities

Likes

There are a lot of aspects that i really appreciate about the college it's the peaceful professional environment and the quality of teaching, the teachers in this campus are really professional and the methods of teaching are very effective
The infrastructure is at an absolute best with the campus having hostel for both girls and the boys there is a canteen that serves quality and nutritious food for the hostelers and quality sporting amenities where everyone can showcase their talent
Relevance of rigor of the course curriculum to personal and professional development it all depends on the individual on what they would want to pursue besides this campus is a management based school which teaches every management course the best wa

Dislikes

Nothing to dislike about the campus .........
This campus has the most quality amenities
Dislikes personally aren't there because everything that is needed on campus is there

Placement Experience:

The placements and employability of this college is at the top most quality The number of students that do not get placements after the completion of the course is at an all time low Many graduates end up working for a company of choice through campus placements ISME also has a placement team who are excellent at their jobs and have a success rate of getting a job for the students who finish the course at a 98 percent success rate The students who pass out of their respective courses are highly qualified thanks to the effective teachings by the professors in the college

My Regret of joining St George School of Business.

Likes

The College Atmosphere, The Students are mostly good and unproblematic.

Dislikes

The teaching staff they're arrogant and unskilled.
Teaching is below the mark for even average as the bar.
Lab facilities are very poor and the condition ia not sterile for experiments

Course Curriculum Overview:

Semester 4, my course included the concepts of Radioactivity which has been a fascinating topic for me, and wanting to learn that aspect pf chemistry was a reason that lead me to choose this course. the curriculum is not sufficient or up to date for current further academic pursuits. the course curriculum should include more scientific instruments commonly used in labs and the teachers could preferably be more positive with their attitude and create an atmosphere where learning is chased. where the teaching doesn't feel like they're just doing their job and finishing their hours by reading ppts off a laptop. the exams themselves are fair and well prepared. perfectly balanced to score based on how much you've learnt.

Yes the first thing I liked is the campus and the environment there is no harrasment and strict action will be taken.
And second thing is faculty members are so helpful and they always help to students and different festival
And also the campus provide all facilities and make helps to sports and ration is almost equal of boys and girls

Dislikes

Yes some things are there which I disliked first is the campus is very strict and no function are organised yearly ones or twice is very sad thing as compared to other campus
Second thing is food students facing some problem with the food which hear prepared so outsiders facing lot of problems
Third is about hostel facility is good but very strict only once a week the students should go out side and write leave letter to go there native places.

Placement Experience:

In my college the company which came to hire is congizent and microsoft and amezon and dell nearly 80 to 90 company are came. The company offers is highest is 40 lack per annum which google provide and minimum is 4lack . Mainly 80 percent of the students are placed every year but due to war happened in the global impact in placement I want to do masters in abroad and then go to the company
