Remarks

Psg college has it's own brand value, many in tamil nadu know about it and across the country it stands for it's name. This college has got very good placement with good salary package in very good companies. Compared to other college in tamil nadu many companies come to psg college for recruitment. It has a very good teaching staffs and good infrastructure with well equipped instruments for learning.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I choose is implemented after 2000, even though we get a good course plan and our syllabus is really helpful to learn about the various branches after biomedical. The faculties handling us are good and friendly, they help us understand the subject as possible.

Class Size: 36Course Fees: INR 65000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement is very good in psg tech, many companies which are to be the top in the market come for recruitment. Many students get placed every year with good salary package if their performance are good in the college. But the number of students placed is really high compared to other college.

College Events

Psg college has various clubs and associations introduced and each club, associations conducts various technical, non technical, cultural events conducted all over the year. NSS and NCC is also there.

Campus Life

PSG TECH has got a huge collection of books in GRD library inside the college. The equipment in labs are good and used for our lab activities. The college has a good sports coaching with playgrounds for different games.

Hostel Facilities

Comparing other colleges to my knowledge our hostel is better and we get a proper food, facilities, etc. The college hostel has a separate council and very well maintained blocks are available in it.

Hostel Fee: INR 100000 per year

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Likes

The gender ratio is fairly close to 1:1 and it provides a proper environment for all to collaborate and interact.
Most of the faculty members are reachable.
Students usually get free by 4PM and have the remainder of the day to explore their own things.

Dislikes

More academics oriented - no room for placements on campus as such.
Unable to choose electives - have to do whatever course is available.
Infrastructurally very basic - lacks a lot of facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.
