Remarks

Fee structure, Government based college, Experienced lectures, distance from my locality, satisfactory facilities, and many great people have studied in our college which makes it unique.I opted this course as I was interested in science

Course Curriculum Overview

Courses are very interesting if we are interested in science. We had field visit relating to the topics of our subjects to show live examples. We got the opportunity to attend seminars in different colleges. Faculties are very supportive and are eager to teach new things.Botany lecturer Dr.M N Siddaraju was one of best lecturer who guided through our course as well other ex-curricular activities.

Placement Experience

0.5

There is no placement and job opportunities from our college. There is no job referral from the college.

College Events

4

Cultural activities are a bit messed up. Some of the competition are during class hours, science students face difficulty participating but in that case we are permitted to participate with lectures permission. There are only 2-3 fests conducted in our college,8-9 colleges participate in it. Bsc students are bit restricted during traditional day,and other celebrations like festivals.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have availed for OBC Scholarship only. It is based on caste and annual income of a student. We need to submit required documents to college office itself.

Campus Life

Infrastructure like sports is good but not much support is given for bsc students. Interested students can participate in sports. There is only a minimum facilities for sportsman. There is a very big library with all available books and comfortable place to sit and read. Labs are provided with minimum equipments required for our use which is satisfactory. There is no wifi connection available in the college.

Indian Institute of Science - [IISc], Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Mathematics)

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semister onwards students are eligible for pkacements. I dont know about the companies of placements as iam a fresher here. The placements here are really good in this course. After Msc forensic science the annual package in an average here is 2-5 lakhs. Almost 80% of forensic students get placement here. As iam pursuing my bachelors here, iam thinking of writing the entrance exam for NFSU gujarath for my Masters.

Placement Experience:

Our university has a training and placement office for the fourth and fifth year students. Before that you need to find internship opportunities yourself. The significant companies include EY, MoSpi, RBI, NSE etc. The is around 50% placements. The highest package was around 40 lakhs and the lowest 5 lakhs. I plan on working in the RBI after my degree.
