Remarks

Among top institute in construction management in India. Good reputation in construction industry. Good placement record so far. All professor are industry experienced. The course Advance Construction Management is best course offered by institute.

Course Curriculum Overview

Advanced Construction Management in PUNE campus has a strength of 467 and is the most sought after course in NICMAR. As a result, most companies come for recruitment of ACM students. This course covers both Technical aspects and Management aspects. The technical sessions are stuffed with civil engineering concepts that are most recent and which are used in the industry.

Every year around 120 companies visit NICMAR for placement. Profile offered is Project manager, execution, quantity surveyor, Business Development, Risk management, Financial Advisory etc.

College Events

The institute has students from all over India. So everyone celebrate their own festival in campus. Every month we have some event in institute. NICMAR also have annual techno-Fest called as Technikala and many more technical conference like ICCRIP, ILCC etc.

Memories of my college days ?

Likes

College campus one of most beautiful place it is very big and very beautiful place
Second one is library atmosphere is very silent and very peaceful so much of books are available
Play ground sitting bunch it is a memorable moment we can rest there and wach beautiful campus

Dislikes

In rainy season the college campus full cover on water so the surrounding building always depth on what that is one of the main issue
Second one a dam it is very nearest to college in rain season it is very bad condition
Sometimes the surrounding is very bad that means clearness is very poor

Curriculum activity are very good sports and arts fields most available Rangoli item is arrived on chandiutasav Nss is there it is very friendly good group own our college Attending camp is very useful to everyone

Dislikes

Their is no canteen nearby our college we have to Walk towards the common canteen which is very far
College is at the very end of the college which takes too much of time
Does not give any national holiday and attendance is compulsory

Likes

I liked overall environment and the teaching staff.
Teachers are very helpful towards students.
And the campus is too good to be true as it makes us feel more like spending our time there.

Dislikes

Mostly there is no such thing that I specifically dislike.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I am learning now is very much related to the real world and it gives me an understandig of the outside market as well as provides me very much knowledgeble things about how the industries work.

Campus - serene and lush green 60 acre campus which lies in the heart of the Pune city.

Placement Experience:

Summer internship starts in September itself and students can convert it into PPO, this is an unique opportunity and summer placements start in the start of the second year itself. Average package for 22-24 batch is 14.32 and highest is 27 lpa.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Living and Learning at IIT Bombay: My Review

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.

Remarks:

The most positive thing about our college will be the availability of free hostels for all of the students who are getting admission in the college. Also, the hostel provides a great amount of stipend for all of the students.

I only applied for government colleges in Maharashtra ,Gujarat and Delhi. The main reason I choose this college specifically was it's industry connect and the image of college in the industry. Throughout the world in civil University is quite well known. I got rejection from NITs and it is due to my low score in the JEE mains exam. For admission NICMAR University Pune they have their own online exam and if you pass that there is a personal interview which you have to clear. They also consider JEE mains mhtcet exam also but the personal interview is compulsory. NICMAR through my eyes

So, the reasons for which I took admission into this colleges are firstly it's recognition i.e. this college is recognised as Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation by DISR, Ministry of Science and Technology that comes under Govt. Of India.Also, our NICMAR offers training in specialized areas like real estate management, construction management, Infrastructure management and allied areas. Also, it has been granted by UNDP. Further, the placement rate to-date is 99.6% of the course I opted for. And the college fee is not so high as compared to other management colleges with so many facilities. So, these were the reasons but now I am going to mention the whole process of admission. So, first of all, I checked the eligibility criteria then I proceeded to fill the form and provided all the details asked there. Based on my score acquired in MAT exam, I got shortlisted and I was called for GD and PI rounds. I turned up for the selected procedure round and my performance was good.
