Remarks
In my initial research & from my current experience VIT offers a huge diversity of students which you would surely enable you to learn from other people. Apart from that there are more than 150 clubs which would keep your extra curricular time engaged. There are good facilities like library, gym, swimming pool & indoor sports complex. The overall lab facilities are good for every branch.
Course Curriculum Overview
Overall the curriculum is great and it keeps updating every year which is a good thing. The academic structure is good but you may feel that you've got less time as we have 3 exams per sem which eats lot of time. The faculties are good. Some are pretty awesome but some of them suck a lot.
Placement Experience
Overall the campus placements are good. Companies like Amazon, Appdynamics, Societe Generale, De Shaw, JP Morgan, Microsoft visit our campus every year. The college's placement cell is pretty good. If you have the skill then you would definitely be absorbed by the company.
College Events
It's awesome. You'll love VIT once you attend it's cultural fest RIVIERA. Campus infra is overall good. Sports facilities are good. We have outdoor stadium, indoor sports complex, swimming pool & many other facilities. Wi-Fi varies from 300kbps to 1mbps in campus, though you can expect 500kbps to be average. Lab equipments are good and library is also pretty huge & has got a wide range of books.

Hostel Facilities
Hostel infra is good. You've got 2/3/4/6 bedroom facilities for first years. There are timings for entry/exit from the hostel. These timings may be strict for the first year but becomes liberal in senior years.
