Remarks

My interest with the concepts of economics led me to apply for Economics hons and choose a career in economics. Also, I am very much interested in discussing about economic policies and look into the process of economic theories, know about there reasons and factors.

Course Curriculum Overview

My college course is always up-to-date. Faculty always provide the recent data along with the past data to analyse any concepts of different economic policies and theories. Also, the library of my college has the latest edition of all the books.

Course Fees: INR 13700 per year

Placement Experience

About the placements and job opportunity, my college arranges the internship mela for that which gives the opportunity to do internships and give interviews to different companies at a time. Also, the companies came for internship are like bajaj capitals, NGOs.

College Events

According to me, the campus life of my delhi university is good. Almost every month there is held a event which help the students to develop their skills and many other qualities for there future and every student has equal opportunity to participate in the events. Also there will be cultural fest which enhances the extra talent other than studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

College provides huge opportunities for placement Till now we have around 400 companies who visited our college and still the placements are going on so everyone in the end gets placed Highest package is around 60lpa and the average will be around 9-10 , As i said almost every one gets placed in the end till now 70% are placed

SRCC- Asia's Best college experience

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

This college has a great placement. 80% of students do place every year. If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 5th semester onwards. Many companies came and the highest placement was 23 LPA last time. Some courses get less placement than others but overall the opportunities are alright.

Remarks:

This college is a govt. College so the teachers are very good and the tution fees is very less. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't have a good campus. Other than that everything like computers lab, mechanical labs are all in good conditions so students won't miss out much except in the sports area.

The admission is entirely done on the basis of your entrance marks. You can fill this university PhD form after doing your Masters or even in your last year of this master degree. If you do good and get excellent marks in your entrance test they will eagerly provide you admission.

I was given this college on the basis of the score in the CUET Exam which i gave after my 12th. It was a tough exam i would say because compiting with 20 Lac plus students for just a seat in DU is not an easy task. While preparing the prefference sheet and combinations for the college in the admission process was a confusing task. So i select all the cobinations of courses and colleges which i was eligible and then i also select my course and college, but i never thought that i would get it, still though i was happy that i get to study in one of the DU college. St Stephens obviously as for Science, its one of the best DU college. The cut-offs on which the admission matters had a massive difference in the kind of marks i had vs the actual cut-off of St Stephens.
