It is international autonomous. First I reported at the University admission camp in my city(Pune) completed my provisional admission and then after a month reported at the University for the further process. August 2017 I wanted to experience the hostel life over there and also the infrastructure was one of the best in India so I preferred LPU Lpu.in
Course Curriculum Overview
I was interested in automation so I chose Electronics and Communication Engineering. The faculty to the student ratio was good enough and they were looking good after every individual student. Also, every 5 students were given a faculty mentor. Most of the faculty were B Tech and M Tech passed and some were pursuing PhD. And also every teacher was informative about the subject and the course. In the span of 4.5 months (1sem) there were 2 term exams and 3 class assessments including practical exams. Also, the exam pattern was moderate enough for a student to score good marks.
Placement Experience
LPU is well known for its placement. Students are eligible for campus placement from the second last semester of diploma and B Tech students are eligible after their 3 years. Amazon India. Cognizant is the mass require user. And many others including Microsoft Wipro Highest package 40- 50 lpa, Average package 4 -6 lpa 90 % placement, Higher Education
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee was pretty much affordable and also the cost of education was moderate for a middle-class Indian. Scholarships were also provided on the basis of the Scholarship Test (LPU NEST). And also there was a quota for the local students
Campus Life
There was not a single day when not even an event took place on average 3 events happen in a day that is the most popular thing about the University. Tech fest and annual fest take place in the month of January, February, and March. The University has got a central library of 3 floors and also individual libraries for each department. Smartboards and a projector were there in classrooms. LPU has an indoor swimming pool and tennis and basketball courts and also a cricket ground. Hostel Facilities
The best thing about the hostel was there were 2 WiFi routers for every 4 rooms and the room quality was also at its best. There were 2 categories of room Air Cooler and Air-conditioned. The food quality was good and also the food was healthy at the mess and also each and every department has a canteen of its own. The registration process for the hostel was simple enough and was included in the admission process.
