Remarks

I don't know about other departments but as my title says stay away from this college especially Biotech and microbiology department cause they are simply horrible. Most Teachers are unsupportive, don't know how to teach & always make big issues about small small things. They robbed an opportunity from student to represent his project in Denmark instead they sent two other students who did very less work on it since they were kiss ass. The teacher who was responsible was Mrs. Jayshree Pawar.

Entrance Preview

The admissions were based on 12th's score & I scored 55.55%. I took admission here in SY. The reason I decided to go to this college because it was near to my place since I live in kalwa.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

There was this research scholar programs in the college but it was totally worthless cause students were not allowed to choose the topic of interest to do research on. Teachers never encouraged students they just used to listen to snobs partiality was obvious.

Internships Opportunities

No college does not provide any kind of internships no company approach by college students had to find their own work or internship.

Placement Experience

0.5

There is no such thing as job placements in biotechnology department. No company approach college for placements. Just few brochures were pinned outside of class rooms about some third-party biotech & some agriculture related internship or research programs.

College Events

0.5

Almost all the events were celebrated in college but since the conservative staff & faculty students were not allowed to do something new or which can be innovative. Example a guy wanted to do stand up comedy act & due his content he was not allowed to do. His content was about alcoholism, drug abuse, homosexuality etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For SY the fees were approximately Rs. 37,000 & in TY it was around Rs. 39000. Such fees were not feasible for everyone but installment options were available. So for me it was feasible but few students couldn't afford it so they changed college where the fees are less around Rs. 15000- 20000.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about loan but scholarships for lower cast was available but that to it required too much documentation. Due to which student avoid doing that. Plus only half of the fees were returned to the students & that too after 1 year.

Campus Life

1

Campus life was ok. Lots of students in college backyard smoked & got drunk. Even drug abuse was done by students. In biotechnology department females were more than males. Academic Extracurricular activities were mostly external. But all kind of sports were played by college. Well all kinds of religious people were in college & no conflicts were religious base but lot of fights which took violent turned happened on campus because of girls although they mostly remained unreported.

Hostel Facilities

1

No there's no hostel facility for this college. If student is migrating he must arrange his living facility on his own. Most of the students in the college are local students so hostel wasn't really a requirement. To get PG near by college it is almost Rs. 15000-20000 per room which was 1 BHK.

Alumni/Alumna

Few senior students were helpful others as usual were snobs so at least we got notes from seniors students.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was as instructed as Mumbai university i.e. two semesters & two internal unit tests in a year. No extra projects were allotted except by the EVS department. There was nothing as such a hectic but all the instructions to write journals were given when exams are at peak. Thus 20 days before the exams were always hectic.

Admission

Since I was in different college in FY, I directly went to college office to ask about admission process. They gave me a form to fill & there was a merit list based on percentage. For second year of biotech course only 3 new people took admission in SY & already 4-5 people left this college.

Faculty

1

Senior teachers were well qualified but for biotech department only 3 teachers knew how to teach. Just because a person is highly qualified doesn't mean that he or she is a good teacher. Only couple of teachers were unbiased & other only talked to snob students.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are limited in the college. A few companies visit during the final year, and students usually becomes eligible fromo the last semester. The packages offered are generally modest, mostly for entry-level roles. Only a small percentage of students get placed thorugh campus drives, while many prefer to apply off-campus for better opportunities. The college provides basic placement support such as info about job openings and guidance, but students need to build their own skills and prepare independently. After completing the degree, students prefer to pursue higher studied, professional courses, or entry-level IT jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

like i was sure that i want a course that will give me experince about AIML with subjects like 3D design + Coding + Envoirmental studeis and all. and the course from the sandip actually have all these subjects in a single course thats why i choose this course. curriculam was good it was updated on time. the course helps me to land a internship with goverment cause i learn the basics of AI from this course. the ares of improvements should be the faculty members like they are horrible sometimes they dont even make the notes for the subjects they ask students to make notes and shared with other students. even one of the faculty member shared a playlist form youtube for a specific subject and ask us to take notes from it and prepare for exam not a single leccture he takes at that time. the frequency of the exam is also not that good cause the want us to prepare for the final semster exam which is of 6 months in just 3 months with all the paper works , projects , assignments etc etc.

Placement Experience:

After taking admission in the college, the placement drive is started for the student immediately from the second semester. All the information about which is sent to the class wise group and if the student is eligible, you can apply immediately after seeing your experience. The experience is very beautiful. You learn new things. You also understand how the interview round is conducted and what the eligibility is. Most of the companies that come to the college include renowned companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Deollite, etc., which hire students. The biggest package of Rs 7 crore per NM has been given so far from Sandeep University in the entire Nashik district.Which is a matter of great pride. Sandeep University is the only college where the largest job fair seminar in Maharashtra is attended. In which students from all over Maharashtra come and give live interviews to companies that have come to the college, give their region and announce hiring on the spot. Therefore, this college provides the greatest opportunity for students to meet all the renowned companies under one roof in one place. During the interview, the student's critical thinking skills and his/her inclination are shown rather than CGP and marks to determine whether he/she is eligible or not. In my experience, the college provides such strong education that at least four students are placed in companies every week. I am currently completing my graduation and will be starting my career immediately after that.

Not sure but I've heard a bit that students are eligible for campus placement since the 5th or 6th semester. If one has enough skills, then they'll be able to get a job of a huge package even while being a fresher. The college offers placements but you'll only get placed if you prove yourself to be better than everyone else in the room.

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
