Remarks

College management is sometimes not efficient and decisions are not made quickly. My course department does not get much importance in the college. We're told things in the last.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course carriculum and exam, both are relavant and research driven. There is a industry visit also for the students which was told to us but did not happen yet. Carriculum is providing the industry specific knowledge and is very informative about the industry

Placement Experience

3.5

I'm in the second year. I don't have much idea about the placements. I did not heard about much companies giving campus placements in the college. The college gives internship opportunities to students and made it compulsory for students to do Internship for a particular period of time

College Events

4

There are a lot Of events and fests celebrated In the college which includes 1. Traditional day - Students need to wear traditional clothes and different departments have their traditional day on different days 2.Shoutt -It's a college fest which takes place every year and happens on big level with a big team of students

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure oft course and other courses as well is feasible. My course fee is 6000 for a year and other courses also are not much expensive. The college gives a fee receipt which States how much amount is charged for different different things. College also demands some extra money later on for providing some other courses irrespective of student's will.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college did not offer scholarships as such. The fees of my course is just 6000 rupees for the whole year

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good. There is a lot of exposure. There are some cultural societies as well as a lot of fests take place every year and most of the time preparations are going on in the campus only. Gender ratio in the college is almost 1:1 Or little less. People from all over India are studying in the college belonging to different economic classes and status

Hostel Facilities

4.5

No, there are no hostels in the college. Outsiders take the pg facility or take flats on rent. I too am an outsider and currently living with 7 others in a 3 BHK flat paying rupees 12000 /month. There are some hostels which take admission on lottery basis.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are frank with the juniors. It's easy to get along with them. They are helpful if needed and supportive

Admission

Admission is on merit basis. I got my name in the first list and then I had to come to Mumbai from Jaipur the other day to do the rest of the formalities and secure admission in the college as only 3 days are given after the list arrives. Admission process is simple and quick. I chose this college as it is a popular college in Mumbai

Faculty

3.5

There are around 15 lecturers in my course. They are between their 30 to 50s and qualified enough to teach the students. They are certified in their subjects as well as they have the on field industry experience related to their subject and expertise

Course Curriculum Overview:

For first year you are supposed to take up internship from your own and for second year the college with place you somewhere so this is usually done to make you ready for real world. You also have internal tests along with assignments and with internship so sometimes it gets exhausting I feel this area should be improved.

KES Law College, Bachelor of Legal Science [B.L.S] + Bachelor of Law [L.L.B]
Reviewed on Apr 8, 2025(Enrolled 2020)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum specially the first two years focuses more on subjects like history, political science etc and prepares are foundation for law. The curriculum is well inclusive of the practical aspects of law as well as the theory which prepares you well for the real world applications. The course can be improved via adding the amended laws like add in GST to the taxation laws. The internal as well as semester exams are conducted once every semester. The difficulty level is easy to moderate for both. We get a study leave of around 20-25 days before every semester exam to prepares ourselves well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Placement Experience:

As I have heard people mostly get placements from this college itself. If not they go for their degrees and take placement there. The salary is mostly around 5 lakhs per annum which is decent enough for most students. According to the principal from the college if a student studies afterwards for degrees this number racks up to 18 lakhs.

Reviewed on Oct 5, 2021(Enrolled 2017)

Remarks:

Laxminarayan Institute of Technology is a reputed institute, when it comes to the field of Chemical Engineering. The placement at LIT for M.Tech students is also decent. In my batch, 50% of the students were placed on Campus, which is better than many NITs for Chemical Engineers doing M.Tech. The admission fees of 27,000 per year is also less in comparison with other institutes. The Teachers at LIT are also vastly experienced. Also the Institute was in my hometown, which made my decision even more easier.
