KIIT University at A Glance.

I choose this University because this University provides good placements in every year. College environment is very clean, eco friendly and Infrastructure is amazing. There are many societies where you can join and work upon to improve your skills. There are many contests/competitions being held in this University which promotes healthy competition among students. The Admission process is online. We need to give a KIITEE exam which is the entrance exam. Based upon your rank, you will get your desired branch. CSE branch is so far considered as the royal branch as lots of companies recruit from this branch during the placement period. During counselling, everyone needs to pay a demand draft of Rs. 75,000/-. The colleges will provide you blazers, semester books, copies, tie, Bedsheet, Pens, Drafters, etc. on the counselling day. For the 1st sem newbies, your hostel will be alloted as per you preference. The rommates will be selected randomly. There are no availability of single bed AC and non AC rooms. Placement is best in CS-IT and Electronic branches. Average in Mechanical and Automobile branches and very poor in electrical and civil benches. The college staffs show too much attitude and are not much friendly. It takes lots of stress and hassle to get some simple document work done through the University.

Course Curriculum is too hectic and sometimes too stressful. Lots of Assignments are given. Faculties are average performed, some are very good but most are not friendly and uninteresting. Every sem we give 2 exams Mid and End Semester. Teaching method is Smart basis thru Projector. Google classrooms are very handy during Assignments, Quizzes and Tests.

Placement is best for CS, Electronics and IT Branch. Average for Mechanical Branch and very poor for Electrical and Civil Branch. Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, Highradius are the mass recruiters. Amazon visits the college every year and recruits around 20-30 students combined in Business and Technical Profile. Many other companies also visits like Novartis, MayaData, HP, Dell, LnT etc.

Campus Life is very cool and friendly. There are lots of enjoyments. Campus is huge. KIIT fest occurs during December where many VIPs, celebrities visits and perform. After every 2 months, many events, summits are conducted by different societies to promote the skills and competition among everyone.

Fee Structure is Rs. 150000 for tuition fees per sem, Rs. 1000 for registration, Rs. 17500 for Mess fee, Rs. 40000 for 3 bedded AC Hostel, Rs. 55000 for 2 bedded AC Hostel, Rs. 21000 for 3 bedded Non AC Hostel. Consider per semester fee as estimated within Rs. 190000-208000/-.

AC Hostels are more hygienic compared to Non AC Hostel. Lots of Washrooms available at each floor. Mess meals are average with varieties. We can also order foods from Swiggy, Zomato, etc. For boys hostel, rules are more liberal whereas for girls hostel, rules are quite strict. Registration for hostel occurs alongside during the Admission Period. Girls Hostels are known as Queens Palace whereas Boys Hostels are known as Kings Palace.

We had to face KIITEE entrance exam for admission. Based on the rank and caste reservation, we got our desired branch. The Entrance exam registation was online with no fees. They will send you admit cards through online. The examination will be conducted at Examination centers throughout different Cities and Towns in India.
