Remarks

Most of the faculties are senior and experienced in teaching. Although there are a few junior professors, who are obviously less experienced, but they too manage well. The Mechanical and the Computer departments have the better faculties over other departments. The management is good but has to be improved so that the process is done in a quicker manner. Now they just run like snails following all the rules laid down decades ago.

Entrance Preview

I cracked EAMCET to get into this college. My rank was 135, 125/160. It's the first choice for everyone who have written this exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It was mainly focused on the text book syllabus and final year project research program is mainly concentrated by PhD students. We focus on the internships and texts. There are electives for the last year. But mostly chosen based on the available faculty.

Internships Opportunities

No, it doesn't. It only helps us to get Internship anywhere else, like in any company which offers internship related to our course. Ex: BHEL, BEL etc.

Placement Experience

5

Excellent any company would first visit our college in our state/city. That is why the top rankers prefer this college. There is also a placement training program offered by our college for our students at free cost. Almost 80% were placed TCS 6.6, delloitte 6, Uurumi 4.5, ModelN 6, Netcrackers 5.

College Events

4

Technical IEEE, Cultural SPORTY. I myself volunteered to organize the Sporty fest which was fun and get to meet students all over the city. It was educational as well with prominent people who come over for a guest lecture. IEEE: has robotics fest and also a place where we can demonstrate our models of new technological devices like Li-Fi, Autonomous robos, controlled robos etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is very affordable by every class of society since it is a govt college. Some scholarship programs are also provided to financially backward class. Yearly they just charge 11,000 rupees. I do not have much idea about the hostel fee they are also at affordable range.

Fees and Financial Aid

Some scholarship programs are also provided to financially backward class. It is very affordable by every class of society since it is a govt college. so no need for the loan and all. But if required, the college will help us out with the red tape.

Campus Life

4.5

All the facilities provided by the institution are too good, that if one can use those opportunities then definitely they will succeed in their academics. Facilities what i found are very useful when compared to any other college in the state except NIT are each and every corner of the campus is WiFi enabled. E learning has become a revolution these days. So if one can use it in proper way, it helps allot. University, E-library and college libraries. They have a very good collection of books and e magazines in e library, competitive exams assistance in library. Centralized computer center. It is a 24/7 computer center which i found as very useful. Laboratories and Professors are definitely a plus point. Campus Placements are at their best. For a student who aspire for great future, Jntuh ceh is a very good platform to build strong career.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

We have a good hostel with mess but the day scholars doesn't have a specific canteen. They can choose from various outlets (Chinese, Indian , Italian food courts) and fast food courts. We have separate hostels for male and female there are plenty of private hostels around the college since it's close to many other colleges.

Alumni/Alumna

I don't know about that but every year a batch of old students celebrate their 10th/25th anniversary of graduation and share their experiences with us they also guide us in a good way to choose/plan our career you can find them on facebook.

Exam Structure

They were at a very close intervals that make us feel hectic. But we were almost ready for any exam as they prepared us in such a way. The final year was just chilled out. Only take care of our final project. The internals are best of 3 and finally the last 2 least scoring subjects are removed from the final total.

Faculty

4.5

It's a mixed staff with equal proportions of senior and junior faculty who have knowledge of the current criteria and also experience to guide us they see to that we get sound knowledge in both theoretical and practical aspects. It is tough to choose the electives due the different choices of students. If there is extra faculty then we can choose any elective.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
