Remarks

I choose this college because of its good name in our city. The college has got the best placements ever. The fees of the college were affordable by me. The college also has got good connectivity to transportation.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teachers in our college are well educated and very supportive. We get great support from our teachers than the faculty members from our main campus. The teaching is not so effective, but their support is excellent. Students who study at this college are ready for everything.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are held on CUSAT main campus. If you have passed the examinations, you will definitely get placed from college. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 29 LPA. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Cisco, etc, visit our campus for recruitment. Top roles offered are as a developer, maintenance, etc. In our course, the salary package offered ranges from 5.2 LPA to 30 LPA. Around 90% of the students got internships in Cochin based companies, TCS, Infosys and many other reputed companies.

College Events

CUCEK is the 2nd campus of CUSAT. The certificate and all other facilities are the same. The college has 6 different engineering branches and one MCA. There is a well-developed Wi-Fi around it, one from google and other is college-based. Classrooms are smart, and labs are well maintained, but mech lab and civil lab not available. The college has a small library outside. There are no hostels around the college. The food served is awesome, Kuttanadan food.

Good life memory

Likes

College ambience was too attractive. Friendly atmosphere ആൻഡ് very nice hidden spots and food spots inside the college
The faculty was too supportive and encouragive nature that was also in studies and extra curricular activities also that be very kind of them
There is not only aim to study but also encourage the extra activities. The management was also very supportive to students and also the faculties.

Dislikes

There is very strict to attendence. There was not to bunk the class every hour there will take the attendence and there will be absent they autimaticaly send sms to registerd phone
There is too many exams and assignments that will be little bit problem for students
Canteen facilities little bit bad in my college life time. There was not that much food veriety

Placement Experience:

From 6 th semester onwards campus placement taken. There was coming in bcs, infopark, wipro, etc. Companies are mainly appeared and also many other companies came select many students. The main companies take students in cutoff 8.5or9 cgpa. And some other compnies take students they have backpapers.

The raging issue have in our college. And I don't really like that thing in our college.There may seniors get suspension because of it sometimes it's get serious that their parents will come. Its ok if the raging is for some fun and just asking but i
There is a thing that i don't like is that is the juniors can't participate in dance session for programs that occurring in our college. Only seniors are participating for it and also the dressing for some event are controlled by the Seniors. Buuutt
In college facilities there is not that much places for sitting during the intervals. That makes everyone bothered.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The course is available in private college therefore there must be fee. The admission fees for this course is 25000.and for those who take admission by management they want to give 50000.after that there is semester fees, which is 16000 for every semester.Our lab and tuition fees are including in this, exam fee we want to pay on the time of exam. In college competitive our course have a greater fee comparing to others. There is scholarship for the category's like SC, ST. Not know the exact amount of scholarship.

Likes

Smart class room is super and magnificent

I choose Cochin University Of science and technology for Mtech Instrumentation Technician beacuse of its good reputation, affordable fees, and experienced faculty, and better focus on core technical subjects. I also got admission to Delhi University, but i prefer CUSAT because it was more affordable and better suited for instrumentation and automation studies. I have only applied to CUSAT, we i was not able to get admission there i would choose to work in a company. It was just a try from my side, but it actually worked out. For MTech, GATE qualifiers can direclty get the admission without any other exams. They can also avail monthly stipent of around Rs 10000. Other exam for admission is DAT exam which is conducted by the respective department of the course. I have taken the DAT exam under the Department of Statistics , where this MTech Data Science and Analytics is present. The eligibility includes BTech or MSc. Cutoff is majorly based on the number of students writing the exams and the number of seats. So cutoffs can vary. Students are selected based on the DAT ranklist. Spot admission is conducted for the remaining seats. There is also a least chance for students who didnt write the DAT Exam can also get the admission at the 2nd or 3rd spot admissions....Read More

CAT/CMAT/KMAT any of the score is mandatory. Out of all applications recieved, the initial shortlisting will be done based on these score normalised. Around 500 students get shortlisted.
