Remarks

According to my 2 years experience at DSI I never found and bad remarks about college or the management. They always encourage students to do extra work or activities rather than just studies which will help students to grow in all the ways.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Exam structure is good. After few topics are taught they conduct surprise tests to know how better we have understood. followed by two Tests and a final exam. The average of two tests were taken and were added to our internal marks and the rest was from final exam. We were given assignments regularly so that we study our subjects in depth and understand them which made us write well in main exams and score good marks.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement is faar better compared to other colleges. In our batch almost 95% of the students got placed. And maximum of them are placed in very reputed companies. We had undergone a training from college how to face interview and how well we should prepare for that. Our college has separate department called CIL where they conduct courses on how student should prepare themselves to face interview

College Events

4.5

Few celebrated 4events during my 2years at DSI. Chanakya which was a management event. Espicially for students from Marketing Stream. Silicon Mania which was again a Management event. This was regarding the startup business plans and how to raise funds and deliver ideas. The main event was AVEGA management and cultural fest. We had marketing, HR, Finance, operations tasks involved in this along with cultural, sports and other activities.its a 2day Fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since I got admission through PGCET the fee structure was As per Government norms. I had paid around 90k during my first year and around 70k during my 2nd year of the course. The overall fee was around 2lakhs including exam fees, college uniform and other few expenses.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't opted for any education loan as my father was a govt employee and we were not eligible. But few of my friends had opted where in they have to provide their necessary documents to get the scholarship. My friends used to get 60% of the college fee they pay as scholarship. It's again on caste and income the scholarships are provided.

Campus Life

5

The gender ratio is almost equal in DSI. Every classroom has equal number of girls as that of boys. And surprisingly there are many girls at mechanical Department of Engineering. And there are students from different countries as well which includes both girls and boys. So the gender ratio here is almost 50:50

Hostel Facilities

4

No I didn't opted for college hostel. Since college Hostel fee was at higher end I opted for a 1BHK house in same locality. The rent in the area is affordable I paid 6k monthly for the house I stayed. There are several PG and Rented houses available in the area since the college has around 14000 students the area is filled with students.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes the alumni network is definitely helpful. They are very much helpful once you complete ur course and search for Job. The reference to join any company is very much needed and this alumni network helps a lot.

Admission

I got admission to this college through PGCET Entrance exam. I wanted to do my masters in Management after I saw all bcom graduates having position of teamleaders and engineering graduates just the employee of the company. I chose DSI just because it is one of the reputed college and placements here were better.

Faculty

5

We had around 8lecturers in our department. All of them were highly educated and experienced. They used all modern Facilities available to teach during classes, they clear you doubts anytime. They also encourage students to conduct extra activities that makes students confident and fearless to face the society.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Doctor is a noble profession , the mere respect which we get by being doctor is one of the prime motive for me to pursuade this course Aside from physiology , anatomy and biochemistry we have a e t c o m which is a type of curriculum which is thought to us in which we learn to deal with different situations during our career and they also help us in terms of improving our communication which is very crucial In real life application . Personally for me the curriculum started on September and we had our first internals in January 2nd around March third round me and we had a final exams in August Honestly speaking MBBS is not an easy course , it is really hard, you need to understand the core, and then applied to even in theory and practical exams. concept

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
