A brief of my experience at LPU

As of now, LPU has great infrastructure and placement hikes but the routine is quite hectic students are always busy with assignments and exams throughout the semester it is like 6-7 exams every month. The admission process was easy. They will ask you to give LPUNEST, which comes with basic 12th standard questions and you can get a good scholarship on the basis of it. If someone needs good opportunities for a fresh start in their carrier can apply to it and also be ready to have a set of activities/exams( we call them CA). Every month and of course they will account for your final result. Lastly, I live in Jalandhar so I didn't go to any of the sites to enquire about this university.

From the early days itself, I was very much interested in technology and things, So I opted for b-tech. Being at LPU every student has their own mentor who keeps a track of his/her academy performance and you can complain about any of the needs and problems related to the university, so student to teacher ratio is good. Teaching is also good and teachers are also qualified. So, there are two main exams scheduled which are MTE and ETE accounts 20% and 50% respectively in semester result rest 25% is your assignments/ projects/CA's +5% of attendance, these all are intermediate level and one can score easily if was attentive during class hours.

Being at the LPU campus you get many opportunities for internships and one can also apply for offline internships and jobs. Recently one of the highest offered campus internship stipend was 80k by Microsoft. At that aspect, you can call it quite decent.

From the 3rd year of your engineering, you are eligible for your campus placement if you have a CGPA above 7.5. Throughout the year many companies visiting universities for hiring and TCS is major among all. You can also see hirers like Microsoft and Amazon. Last year the highest pakage offered was 43lpa and placements went off with an average pakage of 3.5LPA. I don't know the exact percentage of placement but could say it was decent. At current, I am wondering a job at google.

There is a fixed amount of decided fees at the beginning of the course one is opting and divided equally as your semester fees. There is a scholarship which you can get through the LPUNEST exam upto 50% of your planned fees and also you can get on the basis of your 12th result. Even after scholarship hostel charges and other expenses make it expensive.

Every year there are many fests, Hackathons and seminars organized and also annual fest named as one-world for maintaining the secular environment in university. Social life here is very good obe can meet new people which belongs from around the globe. Being a good reader I often go to the library and rarely it happened I didn't found the book I was looking for be it a coursebook or some novel. Classrooms are well furnished with AC and good seating arrangement. Even for sports, one can have enough exposure inside the campus. For clubs and groups, there are many of them inside campus be it DSC-LPU(google) or Microsoft ambassador program.
