Remarks

The Good: Great location, good professors, holistic learning, state-of-art laboratories, clean and sprawling campus The Bad: The office work requires a lot of moving forth and back, big campus means a lot of walking is involved even for simplest of activities, will have to find your own internship during 2nd year summers. Overall, the college experience was very good and I learned a lot from my 4 years there.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose the civil engg. course due to good laboratories regarding the course that had everything needed to demonstrate the intricacies of the many subjects of civil engineering. The faculties are mostly Ph.D. qualified, with a few passed students working on their research projects or M.Tech or Ph.D. taking some introductory courses in 1st and 2nd year. The exam was up to the mark, and it was not easy to pass unless you study. The college has strict measures in regards to cheating and carries appropriate punishment. Getting failed in one or more subjects meant you have to retake the exam in the next semester.

Placement Experience

3

Companies came to campus in the 7th semester for placements, including many top companies such as Infosys, ACC, Wipro, etc. They usually conducted a series of tests before shortlisting students. More than 95% of the students managed to complete placements, although you cannot sit for placements if you have one or more backlogs when in your 7th semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was okay in line with other private B-Tech colleges. The top few students were offered free scholarships for the next semester and so on. If you have scored above 90% in either X or XII or both, you can be eligible for a reduced admission fee in the initial semester.

Campus Life

4.5

Life on the campus was very good. The campus has 2 girls hostels, 4 boys hostels, 2 co-ed international hostels for international students. You can get a choice of AC hostels or non-AC hostels during admission. There were facilities for every kind of sports including cricket, football, basketball, TT, badminton, squash, etc. The college has 2 large sports grounds for outdoor sports and 2 basketball courts. Classrooms had projectors and speakers. The annual fest is Universum, which is conducted once every 2 years for 3 days and sees a host of college students attending it from all across India, with previous stars adoring the final day of the fest, such as Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika Singh, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

Barring Hostel 1, all gents hostel had attached bathrooms and were mostly shared accommodations (2 in each room). The hostels were cleaned regularly and were well maintained. Each hostel has its own mess for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was okay, as expected from hostel foods. The are pure-veg hostels so no non-veg was served. You will be randomly allotted a hostel (usually Hostel 10 or 11) once you complete the admission process.

teaching aspect, exam conduction is fine. except they can give more break (1 or 2 day) between exams, rest all is good. The exams are not that difficult. The level i would say on a scale of 1 to 10, is around 6.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I thought I would have a wide range of options to choose from later. This curriculum prepares us moderately I will say. Academically subjects are what we need, but I feel semesters are too short to complete everything. while semester we are like rushing first minor then within a month we have majors. it feels too overwhelming as we have to do subjects like cs gp too. which take a lot of time. then assignments. then lab workbooks are to be completed then we have to complete the syllabus and then minor and after a month only we have majors it is very hectic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is successfully combined with theoretical learning and practical applications, enabling students to face both professional lives and higher studies. The majority of students enjoy its applicability. The fee is affordable, with B.Tech priced around ?92,500 per annum. Merit-based scholarships (12th-grade marks, CUET, or JEE Main) give financial assistance with up to a 100% concession for good performers. Few details are available regarding fee differentials for different categories (SC, ST, Management). Examinations are held on a regular basis, such as sessionals and end-of-semester exams. Improvement areas include more effective time management in the tests and more concentration on extracurricular activities.

Placement Experience:

You become eligible for placements from the 7th sem itself. The companies which some here are mostly unknown companies, except Flipkart, Airtel, Jindal and Reliance. The placement scenario is as follows: CS/IT : Very good placements, avg 4+, highest(from 2023) was 12LPA on campus. Printing/PKG/Food Tech : 100% Placement, in 2024, 10 students got placed with a package of 9.5 LPA. Core branches(Except ECE) : Decent placement, you have to be top employable in your batch to be placed. ECE : Not allowed to sit in software companies, no electronic company comes, worst placement, No need to talk about the package or percentages. You can just be placed in a sales role.
