Remarks

I personally felt that the management was always striving to ensure that we as students get most of the latest technological advancements in the IT field and there were multiple webinars and seminars held for us to attend and get to know about various kinds of information by industrial experts. Also, the placement cell was highly motivated to help a majority of deserving students grab job offers by inviting multiple MNCs. There were separate libraries as well for each building where different courses were being taught. The quality of teaching could have been better and sometimes it felt like some teachers were being rigid about what type of projects they want us to work on instead of letting us try to explore our areas of expertise.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I specifically chose this course keeping in mind the job opportunities that come with it. Talking about the faculty: student ratio it was around 1:45 but I felt it could have been better and classrooms felt crowded when the attendance used to be high. Most of the faculty was well qualified and it was justified by their way of teaching as it used to feel more practical than theoretical but then there were some teachers who never were able to convey the complex information properly Term exams used to take place in fixed intervals in a year as there were two semesters: winter and summer and it required alot of effort and hard work to make sure that I was getting good scores in the terminal exams.

Placement Experience

3.5

After the 6th semester, the placement cell in my college was working quite hard as from the beginning of the 7th semester we had started receiving job offers from different companies. There were a number of top fortune companies that visited including Amazon, Capgemini, Google, HCL, Hitachi And for an approximation, there were around 50 companies that visited in total The highest package offered was 30 lacs p.a and the average package was around 5 lacs My plan after getting the degree is to go for masters in Canada in Networking and grab a decent job there

Fees and Financial Aid

I found the fees structure was relatively better and cheaper as compared to other colleges that I looked for and I was also offered a 20% scholarship taking into account my 12th board result so the college had a criterion as to what percentage of scholarship they would offer a student depending upon his/her marks in the board exams. For people above 90% in boards, the scholarship was 25% and for above 95% it was 50%. The fees for the odd semester was 64,500 and for the even semester it was 31,500 and there was a fees hike once in my second year of around 6000 rupees. I got a good job offer in my final year from Capgemini during the recruitment drive on my campus and they offered me 4 Lacs per annum which I let go as I will be going for my higher studies.

Campus Life

3.5

There were multiple fests which used to be held every year in the college. Firstly, there was a freshers party for every new batch entering the college and it usually took place in the month of September and then at the end of the year in December there was the annual college fest called PIET MAESTROS which used to be alot of fun. There was 1 central library and also separate libraries for all the 4 blocks/buildings and books were available in plenty for all the courses. Classrooms were full of the best teaching methods as there was a projector and a large computer screen installed in all the classrooms and the classrooms were also well-ventilated. My college had a basketball team, a cricket team as well as a volleyball team, and time-to-time there were other activities including singing and dancing competitions as well.

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

I had interest in full stack development, wanted to create websites. This course has collaboration with Xebia which provides a better learning approach for full stack No much improvement if the teacher appointed is great Timings of exam is really average but it is somewhat easy.
