I took AIEEE IN 2012. I had got 165 marks. Being from general category and having 29000 rank, the only private college i preferred was MIT. One have options of taking C.S and ETC with this range of marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course of Electronics and Telecommunication is streamlined with the GATE syllabus. If you are interested for research and higher education, the syllabus has some good subjects which has a vast scope for future, such as VLSI, Microwave Engineering, Operational Research, PLC automation, Multirate and adaptive Signal processing etc, Image processing, Soft Computing.

Yes college has lots of tie-ups with the companies that provides internships and training. One such program is of BSNL EETP course. There you get 1.5 years of training with three certification courses of Silver , Gold and Platinum. from RTTC PUNE which is completely free of cost and is based on merit of the candidate.
Placement Experience
The placement cell of MIT pune is superb. Having a motto of placements for every students, total students placed for last two years was 82.80%. The highest package was 13.00 Lacs, with average package of 3.88 lacs. On average 118 companies visit every year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is different for different category of students. Open category students have fees around 1.15 lacs, while there is fee concession for students of maharashtra. The fees are feasible and the management listens to the students who are unable to pay whole amount at a go, allowing partial payment of fees.

Yes there are alumni meet organised in the month of March every year in the department where the juniors interact with the alumnus. The senior students are really helpful in all the way possible, be it notes or practicals or any help regarding studies.
Exam Structure
The exams are held throughout the semester. The University has online examination as well as theory examination. The practical and oral examination is also there. There is separate passing head in every examination. So one needs to be geared up every time for good scores. The internal Assessments are also carried out seriously for term-work marks.
