College Review

The College is one of the best colleges in West Bengal. The college provides a great base for any aspiring engineer. The college has many streams and a wide range of connections. The admission procedure starts from the end of July but having the current scenario it is uncertain. If you opt for this College you will not regret your decision. You will have your independence to a larger extent but the professor will always be there to guide to if you deviate from your actual goal.

I choose Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering as my field and I am happy with my decision. I found that my professors were highly equipped with their knowledge and skills and have a clear idea to guide their students. The student to faculty ratio was 1:5 if I consider all the professors with the total number of students in my year. In class, it was 1:35 approx. Maximum faculties have done their Dr. in their domain. Some faculties even have an excellent way of teaching. In my department. We have two unit test in between the semester which is very helpful to cope with the final semester if you follow your professor's then it will be quite easy to cover up all the syllabus and you will learn a lot and also pass the exam with a healthy score.

The training and placement Group is a really great asset for the college. The college provides a great platform for budding engineers by providing them with the best chances to get placed in big companies. Every year the college conducts its placement drive. Every year big companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, TCS, CTS and many more come to recruit from our college. Talking about job opportunities the college has a great reputation in the market.

Semester fees are between 42000 to 45000 each semester. The B. Tech course has eight semesters. Also, there are TWF criteria for students regarding fees. Scholarships are provided in this College. Also, transportation compensation is provided in this College too.

The College also conduct its cultural fest technical fest and departmental fests too. The seniors will also organize a welcoming fest for the newcomers. The College have a big library and a digital library too where there are ample books for each and every student. Wifi is installed on every floor of the college. The college also organizes its sports event both indoor and outdoor games. There are many different clubs in the college which is a great platform to showcase your talent.
