The Main motive behind choosing NSEC was , it is very reputed and a very old college situated in Kolkata. Moreover, it is situated at a very decent location and I got the course which I wanted to pursue. The location is great and the placement records are well enough. The teaching quality is also good, teachers are polite and friendly. The college is the first college of Techno Group which gives a good exposure and an extra curriculum is great here. The only downside might be the distance between the main road and the college otherwise it's a great choice if you want. I just love everything about computers and being a tech-savvy person I always wanted to pursue CSE B.tech as my career plan. And Engineering is a field where you should follow your interest rather than the market value. If you think you have a deep love for this career and a vest of interest in this field, just go for it. The facility is well enough for the students. CSE is divided into 3 sections with 60 students each and there are more than enough teachers to provide good education. Even in the online mode, they are working hard to share their knowledge. The exams (due to pandemic situation 2020) were delayed and shifted to online mode but teachers helped a lot to conduct online exams and questions were pretty good.

As per my knowledge, the placement eligibility starts from the end of the 3rd semester. Many companies come to visit here like TCS, BYJU's, etc. The placement record is also good, you can find it in detail on the official website of Netaji Subhash Engineering College.

The total cost of the college is 89250 Rs. per year and I think it's a pretty good amount. Although you have a TFW quota where you can achieve all tuition fees scholarships and you can complete your B.Tech as less as 5K per year. You also have a PNB bank nearby where you can apply for an educational loan if you want to.

There are many tech clubs like Phoenix, Google Developers Club or GDC NSEC, and more like that. The Central Library which is the main library of Netaji Subhash Engineering College is so big that you will never need to buy any college book from outside.
