I scored 160/200 in Maharashtra CET exam and as MIT Pune is one of the best colleges in India with good placement I opted for it.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course is described by Pune university which is one of the best universities in India and also the syllabus is updated as per industrial standards. Syllabus is well covered as per the engineering branch you choose. Syllabus is similar to IITs and NITs. More focus is given on Practical and theory.
Internships Opportunities
College encourage internship for students but not on the campus but any other industries like Microsoft and Amdocs with 10-15k stipend.
Placement Experience
Placement is excellent. Almost 200 companies visit college every year and 80% of the students get placed during their final year. Most for the companies are from software background and with good pay. MIT Pune is considered to be one of the best colleges for placement.
College Events
Annual fest. Departmental technical fest. Teachers congress. Student Parliament. Summit sports event. Robocon India. All these events are national and international events. almost all the events are worth participating . Robocon is the biggest technical event organised every year by MIT Pune.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is little expensive compared to other colleges but it is worth. Fees is fixed by the Maharashtra Govt. and there is different fees for student belonging to Backward caste. Fees can also be paid in installments and loan facility is also available for students.

Scholarship is provided to meritorious students and also loan is easily available from all banks. Scholarship from govt is also available.
Campus Life
Campus life is best and you will find people from all parts of India. MIT campus has 17 colleges in total so no issue with anything. Sports events are organised. Robocon one of the biggest technical event of India is organised. Student Parliament a national level event is held each year.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is available to first year only but you can easily find good private hostels and PG and flats outside the college campus . Food is good in college and outside college also. No issue with the accommodation and food near college. Pune is the city of youngsters no issue with food anywhere.
Alumni/Alumna
Good alumni network and college organised alumni meet in most of cities and in US and Australia. Every year Alumni are invited to college for annual fest.
Exam Structure
Exam is carried out by Pune university on semester basis. There are practical, theory exams by university. 100 marks theory paper for each subject exams are really tough in pune university and passing rate is low compared to other universities. there are good opportunities to learn in this university.
Faculty
Faculty is wee qualified with all the teachers Post graduate in the concerned field and involved int the research activities in the college and at National and International level. Teachers are highly experienced in corresponding field with good industrial and teaching experience.
