Remarks

1. NIT Warangal is one of the top engineering institutes in India with a best teaching faculty2. Our college has a good infrastructure and lab equipments.3. Placements at our college are better than most of the other IITs and NITs.4. NIT campus is huge, beautiful and clean5. The events and festivals conducted are one of the biggest in South India. They help us explore ourselves.6. I'm from a poor background. Our college provides fee remission for students whose family annual income is below one lakh INR so that every one could study at NITs and IITs.

There's a need to update the course curriculum. It should be more practical than theoritical. Faculty members are good. They are highly qualified lecturers but a few people lack in some teaching skills

College Events

There are various festivals conducted every year in our college like Technozion, SpringSpree, E-Summit, Youth fest etc. Technozion is South India's second biggest festival. During this fest, various technical events and games are conducted which helps us explore ourselves.SpringSpree hosts various cultural events, dances and ethnic nights. E-Summit is the annual entrepreneur ship club which helps the budding entrepreneurs to learn about various business ideas and strategies. It also conducts events about the business ideas.Youth fest is celebrated in our college in the memory of Swami Vivekananda.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. Full fee remission for students whose family annual income is below one lakh INR. I am from this category.2. Two third of fee remission for students whose family annual income is between one lakh and five lakh3. Institute Merit scholarship for students with good CGPA.

Campus Life

Every thing is good except the gym and wifi facility. Sometimes we don't get proper wifi. It makes me a bit annoyed when I am taking any online exam. For girls, the gym equipment is not that good. Some equipment is not good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are average. Mess food is average. A new hostel building for girls is under construction. The bathrooms are not so neat and tidy. I always feel that boys' hostels are better than that of the girls'.

Worth considering for your tech career

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Relevant and practical experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

Before joining I thought it would be like any other engineering college where we just study for exams. But after coming here, I felt it's a bit different. We do have theory classes, but there are also coding sessions, projects and assignments almost every week. Sometimes it gets a little hectic but I think it's actually helping us learn better. The syllabus feels relevant.

A valuable four year journey

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has been a nice mix of theory and practical work. We don't just sit through lectures all day there are coding sessions, projects, assignments, and hands on activities that make the subjects easier to understand. It feels like you are learning skills that you'll use later. One thing I noticed after joining is that the classes don't feel the same every day. Some days are regular lectures while on others we are working on coding problems, assignments or small projects. That change keeps things interesting.

I think IN-campus Placements are the best thing that this college may offer.This is one of the top college in Telangana so almost every top company gives a chance to this college companies like Cisco, Insfosys, TCS, Cognizent, Accenture and many more.The highest package is 34LPA last year 2024, and the average is 7LPA i think.I think almost 60 to 70 percentage of people get place in the companies.I plan to get place in the top most comnmpany in the Telanagana after getting degree.
