Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Information technology consist of programming concepts which you to use for developing software and maintaining the computer operating system. Exams will be conducted twice a year. There will be 5 grades based on Ur score. Those who score below 40 will be asked to reappear in that subject

Placement Experience

4

You have oncampus recruitment where companies conduct online assessment and interviews to recruit students. Lots of top companies come to recruit the graduated students. Some companies provide internship where they ask to work in the organization during the final year. One of my friend was selected in a company named newgen and worked in that organization during the final year for almost 6 months. He got a stipend of 7500 during that period.

College Events

We have cultural event once in a year. Then symposium once in a year. Then industrial visit once in a year. Then sports event once in a year. Gaming contest once in a year. Tour once in a year. Photo contest once in a year

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible since I went through counselling. For counselling people it is 40000 per year plus transportation and book fees which will be around 20000. For management quota people it is 65000 per year. Placement and training are additional apart from the above.

Fees and Financial Aid

College give scholarship to the ones whose family income is less. The student also need to score particular percentage to avail the scholarship. Also toppers of the college get scholarship. This act as a encouragement to students

Campus Life

4

College has seperate music bands. They go and participate in College functions as well as in tv shows. They also participate in own college culturals. Apart from this college has its own cricket team where they participate in inter college competition.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel are not tat much good. The infrastructure is ok. But the food is poor. Mostly boys prefer taking rooms outside the college or staying in pg. You have lots of options outside the college campus.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes college conduct alumni meet every year. Senior students do regularly come to college and interact with juniors. College also provide an opportunity to seniors to share their work experience to juniors which help the students about the professional world

Admission

I went through anna university counselling. Candidates will be selected based on the score which they got in the 12th board exam. cutoff will be calculated from the 3 subjects(maths, physics, chemistry). Those who have more cutoff will be given more preference.

Faculty

4

Faculty are well trained. They give a lot of pratical work to students and guide students at all places. They also conduct special training to students apart from studies. They also conduct contest like paper presentation, programming quizzes etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course based on the content of the University curriculum which was strongly followed by the institution. All the departments follow the University syllabus both theory and practicals. The maximum number of students for the MSc course is 10 but we were 2 in my class and the faculties ( 10 faculties in Biochemistry, 12 faculties in Microbiology, 8 in Hematology and 6 in Pathology, 4 in Genetics (part of Hematology and Pathology) and 2 in Epidemiology and Biostatistics) as of our time in both theory and practicals. In addition, there are many laboratory postings where you learn even more. There were atleast 5 Professors, 9 Associate Professors/Assistant Professors, 7 PhDs that directly taught us. The University exams come on October 15th of each year, there are 3 Internal assessments and 1 model exam. If you go through the internal assessment and the model exam, the University exam will not be difficult for you.
