Remarks

Close to home.Recommended by a cousin studying there in the same course.Chose branch over college between this and B.Pharma in BITS PILANI. Good amount of scholarship was provided based on my 12th board exam marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is outdated although the college introduces a lot of courses on emerging technologies every now and then. Some of the faculties are well qualified but most of them have very little knowledge and only live to disturb students by giving out useless assignments. The college forces students to write research papers on already existing tech in order to improve its rating in NAAC.

No good company visits the campus. Only small service based companies recruit students on small package and large bonds.

College Events

College fest- Chorus is the so called largest fest in north India. It goes on for 3 days around October or March (not a set date). Tech fest happens very rarely as the Dean belives in old fashioned way of teaching and learning. The college has Google DSC which holds workhshops and talks.

Fees and Financial Aid

First year scholarship is provided on the basis of JEE/ Boards/ SUSAT marks. 2nd year onwards it is distributed on CGPA. It ranges from 80% to 10%. Additionaly, UP govt scholarship is also there.

Hostel Facilities

Triple sharing non AC hostel room with mess costs 1,10,000. For AC it is 1,50,000Sadly there's no gym but other facilities are above average.Surprisingly, the mess food is above average. Wardens are really helpful and friendly. Sports facilities and equipment are available. The hostel is located just opposite to the central library. WiFi is available at all times.

The Truth

Likes

There is the rich infrastructure Campus , Air Conditioned Classrooms and the labs campus is lush and ecofriendly.
Sports Activity are the great , there are too any ongoing activities in different time interval.

Dislikes

The Education system lacks a little bits as the teachers leaves the institute in a short period time , like end of the semester.

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester the student are eligible for the campus placement . The companies visited are mainly non-tech with expection of the very few tech compaies like CODT Technologies , Axiom Technology , Delta , Kloudcodey , Seccon etc and the offer were made around 3-4 per student which fet selected in the company selection interview.

A Good College Experience with Great Learning

Friendly teachers and a supportive learning environment

A Good Overall College Experience

Likes

The teaching is good, and the practical sessions help in understanding the concepts better. The faculty members are well qualified, friendly, and approachable whenever students need help.
The university organizes various activities and events, which keeps campus life active and engaging. Students get opportunities to participate in different activities beyond academics.
The university has the necessary laboratories and facilities for practical learning, especially for students pursuing technical courses like Civil Engineering.

Dislikes

Although the required infrastructure and laboratories are available, the maintenance of some buildings and facilities could be improved.
The hostel provides the basic facilities, but areas such as maintenance, cleanliness, food, and overall management could be improve
I have not reached the placement stage yet, so I cannot personally evaluate the placement process. More detailed and transparent information about placement opportunities, companies, packages, and outcomes would be helpful for students

I have not reached the placement stage yet, so I cannot give personal information about the companies visiting, packages, or the percentage of students getting placed. I have heard that placement opportunities are available for diploma students, but I cannot personally verify the placement statistics yet. My main plan after completing my Diploma in Civil Engineering is to pursue a B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Because of this, I am currently more focused on building my technical knowledge and practical skills during the diploma rather than immediately joining a company after graduation.

College timing i hate it giming is from 9am to 5pm till your 3rd year and in 4th year only 3 days classes are there...
Management of college is not so much good it is okay okay..
Fest and freshers are also okay okay in this college...

Welll I really like the nature of our chairman he is so friendly and our college is based on three things sikha sanskaar and rojgaar
I REALLY LIKE THAT HOE CLEAN AND GREENY OUR COLLEGE IS....IT HAVE VERY GOOD ENVIRONMENT AND VERY CLEAN AND HYGIENE PLACES
I like the bus facilities of our college....our college have vast network of buses that run around whole lucknow

Well I don't like my warden she is not that understanding
I don't like that we have to share our room with 3 girls
Sometimes I don't like when we don't get a chance to show our talent

Placement Experience:

Welll from last year of the course the students become eligible for the jobs and the college do provide jobs there are many companies who come and take students the average package is about 2 to 4 lac and the highest is 7 to 8 lac .... mostly 10 students from the class get the jobs ...my plans are that i will go for online amd offline campus jobs

Likes

Mess food is decent sometimes its good and very few times its bad but still better than other hostels I've been to.
Teachers are friendly and strict at the same time they know their subject and they know how to maintain discipline between students and teachers.
Campus is so big and beautiful and you can find every thing of daily necessities. an inside grocery store, 2 canteens, barber shop. milk man service, a fruit shop. and many more

Dislikes

Light problem is a big problem there it can cut off anytime.
Sometimes monkeys are a bit of a problem also.

Placement Experience:

as you know mine is a medical course so this profession usually doesn't provide gauranteed placement but internship programs are conducted regularly by ncism and college itself. the university is so big that it also offers direct jobs with high paying salaries. other than that the unani college provides placement in unani medicinal companies like hamdard and all. many it departments provide placements in many it companies such as wipro.

The experience I had at Sharda University

I did not apply to any other college. I just went with this one and just because I had heard its name. Ads were running and basically it's very big when it comes to area and also I wanted to enjoy my life plus study, so that's why I chose this university. Admission process is simple as I told you cut-off for these exams are basically attendance, 75% and in admission you only need above 60% in your 12th or even 10th, then you have a call basically an exam examination where face-to-face interview is there and then you are selected Not that tough to be very honest. My Experience with Sharda University <3

After my 12th I was completely focused on my preparation of a competitive exam viz. UPSC NDA. because of that I couldn't give cuet exam to apply for other colleges. My father was posted near to this university. so upon researchig i found the campus life and the experience quite good so I dicided to join this university because it was near my home too. And I believe it doesn't matter what college you opt for in the end you hard work and dedication towards achieving your gaols decide you career.
