Remarks

First of all, this college is a part of the best University of India-Delhi University. So, after the cut offs list, initially i took admission after 3rd list in an evening college, but i got my name under this college after 5th list and i wanted a morning college, so i took the admission here. Also, PGDAV College is located in one of the prime areas:lajpat nagar, so being an outsider, it was convinient for me to find a home. This college has the biggest canteen in the university and it's education quality was also up and coming.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Overall, with the experienced faculty, who have been teaching even for the past 20years, the quality of education was very good. The faculty to student ratio might be around 1:30 and there teaching method showed the amount of experience they possessed. They helped in the assignments and all the internals were always on schedule.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement cell always try hard to get the best companies possible with EY also also making the offers. Among the top recruiters, E&Y, Tresvista, L&T, Bank of America were some of the biggest companies. Highest package offered was Rs. 700000 p.a. and average is around rs.2.7 lakhs p.a. Even if we are not placed through placements, we can get respecful jobs even off campus.

College Events

Their is society available for every skill, be it theatre, dance, music, economics, finance, placements, cultural fests. Every society members were so close to each other and with alloted rooms to every society, they all practiced hard and did their own fun.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Being a government University, the fee amount was nominal with around Rs.13000/year with good ROI with packages going to as high as Rs.7lakhs p.a. Also, the placement cell organised various internship fairs for students so that they can get experience before entering the corporate world.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Placement Experience:

Students of 3rd year are eligible for the same. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Blackrock, Meesho etc being the most prestigious recruiters. Highest package varies, but it went around 36 L last year. Avg being around 8 L. I would say most students who apply for placements get placed, however only a few get placed in the top companies. I personally wish to pursue an MBA.

Placement Experience:

I would not suggest On Campus placement for this college as the placement cell is not very good here. However one can score a great package if they develop skills in the field of chemical engineering.

Remarks:

This college is a govt. College so the teachers are very good and the tution fees is very less. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't have a good campus. Other than that everything like computers lab, mechanical labs are all in good conditions so students won't miss out much except in the sports area.
