Remarks
It is a reputed college with good teaching faculty. I got a course of my preference which i wanted so i decided to go for this college. The admission process was quite smooth as specified by Mumbai University.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose the course BAF that is a bachelor's in Accounting and Finance. It gives a great insight into the accounting and financial aspects and is really beneficial for someone who wants to pursue the field of finance. There are about 80 students in my class and the teaching faculty is really cooperative and helpful. The term exams were moderately difficult but if one has attended the college, it would be easy for him.
Internships Opportunities
Due to the current pandemic situation, the college is offering a few virtual internships from companies such as EY, intern in, algorithmics, and a few more. There are good opportunities provided by the college in various fields such as marketing, finance, etc.
Placement Experience
After the third year, placements are offered by the college. There are many companies visiting colleges to provide placement. Since I am in my second year I dont have many ideas about it. But one can expect a good placement offer if his cgpa throughout the course has been good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is around 18000 for general category students. For obc and sc students, the fee is a lot less. I am in my second year so I dont have much idea about campus placement or jobs but there are a good amount of internship opportunities that are provided by the college during the first and second year.
Campus Life
Kiran is the annual festival of kc college. The festival is very lively and is a 3-day fest. The campus has a big library where there are more than 10000 books. There is also a canteen which is very hygienic and provides a variety of delicious food. All classrooms are air-conditioned and have a projector and a whiteboard. There is also a sports room in the college where one can play a variety of sports such as carrom, chess etc.
