Remarks

The college is very strict about the entry time in your hostel blocks for both girls and boys. Drinking and smoking are strictly not allowed on the college campus. If caught strict actions are taken against students. The college always supports students for extracurricular activities.

Entrance Preview

VITEEE Rank: 2904.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The courses are excellent and many of them are project-based. You can choose some of the courses from the university electives and some from program electives.

Internships Opportunities

Yes. Average Stipend: Rs. 25,000.

Placement Experience

5

The placements are 100%. Everyone has at least two to three offers in mass companies(TCS, CTS, etc). Then there are dream companies that offer a package of 5-10 lakhs per annum and super dream companies that offer 10-20 lakh. Dream companies are Caterpillar, L&T, Mu Sigma, Delloite, SAP, etc. Super Dream companies are Flipkart, Paypal, CodeNation, Amazon, Cisco, Microsoft.

College Events

5

The two main events are Gravitas and Riviera, Gravitas: Is a Technical Fest, Riviera: Is a Cultural fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities

A bit expensive as compared to Government Colleges. Average Fee: Rs. 3.50 Lakh Per Annum.

Campus Life

4.5

There is a lot of diversity as people from all over India study in VIT. The lab facilities are very good and you can use the labs whenever they are free. Extracurricular activities like debates, tech seminars, dramas, singing, dancing, etc take place almost every week. There are facilities for sports like badminton, football, cricket, table tennis, carom, chess, volleyball, basketball, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facilities are excellent and they provide AC services. The mess food is also good and you can change your mess if you are not satisfied with the current one.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors here are very helpful and there is no ragging. The interaction with seniors is very healthy and I have had a very good experience.

Exam Structure

Every semester there are 4 quizzes, 2 Continous Assessment Exams, and a Term End Exam. It may seem a lot, but these exams are easy, and very little effort is required to score.

Faculty

4

Again, you can choose whichever faculty you like. The teachers are experienced and helping.
