Remarks
Firstly it’s very near to Chandigarh and is one of the renowned universities. It has 100% placement records also it provide us various platforms to outshine. Admissions are based on two criteria- Firstly you should have given JEE mains exams. Secondly you should have scored minimum 70% in 12th boards. Based on these results, merit is created and admissions are given. Other colleges doesn’t provide more opportunities like chitkara provide.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course because I was interested in it. You learn pretty much everything that you’ll need for your future jobs. The faculty to student ratio is 1:50, which is good. Most of the teachers are highly qualified and have deep knowledge about subjects, also they go for that extra mile with students. Exams are conducted timely. There is always an exam in every week.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies visit the university every year for placements, like Infosys, wipro, Microsoft, airtel, IBM, oracle, NVidia, tech Mahindra, dell, Godrej, ITC, Vodafone, Asian paints, Tata motors, and many more.
Placement Experience
Placement are decent in Chitkara University. They have 100% placement records. Average package goes around 6-8 lacs with highest every year is around 20 lacs PA. Students sit for placement exams from 3rd year (5th semester) onwards. You can get a good placement, if you have knowledge about the subjects and if you maintain a good CGPA.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure is pretty much basic, like all colleges. It is 82000 per semester excluding hostel and mess charges. There is another 30000 per year bus fee, if you opt for bus service. As such there is no scholarship for student’s entry. But you’ll be provided with loads of internships with good stipends in your college time.
Campus Life
Life in campus is like paradise. The infrastructure, food courts, hostels, games ,etc everything is top notch. You will never get bored in the campus. Library is also pretty huge. There are many clubs in the college. You can join any in which you are interested. Cultural fests and dance nights are also organized time to time.
